Elizabeth's Pov
It was almost afternoon when I decided to go home . I already skipped a day of school because I didn't know if I wanted to face anyone . I killed 9 rouges without hesitation last night and I still could felt their blood in my mouth .
I told Charles everything . Including the part where I found my mate on the bed with the pack slut . He knew I was mad . Disappointed. Sad . But he knew that I was really good with hiding my feelings too .
The group of rouges were so unlucky . They came at the wrong time and met a wrong person . Even though I knew they came for someone . Me . For some unknown reason . But little did I knew , that there would be more coming for me . They won't stop . Not until they get me under their control .
Charles was coming with me home . He insisted to come for a very obvious reason . To punch my mate face . There was nothing I could do with that since I felt the same way and I was pretty sure my brothers would do the same thing if they hear about my unlucky story . My brothers were overprotective when it comes to me . Same went to Charles . They were also the reason why I only have them as my family and friends .
As we made our way through the woods to the pack house , the scent of my mate was getting stronger and it put me over the edge . There was a lot of things playing in my mind and emotions that I couldn't understand. His scent was suffocating me .
When Charles opened the door for me and letting me to go in first , I was engulfed with a pair of strong arms that belongs to my mate . My face was smashed to his hard chest and his head was buried in my hair as he took a sniff of me .
I was too shocked to move but soon he pushed me away which made me almost lost my balance . Lucky for me , Charles was right behind me to catch me .
" Why the hell you smell like him ? " He growled as his silver eyes turned to black .
After I managed to stand on my own feets , I gave him my death glare before I spoke , " Why do you even care ? And as far as I know , it is not even your business . So back off . " I walked past him , intentionally bumped my shoulder with his .
I was right in front of the stairs when I heard a loud thud and sound of glasses breaking . I immediately turned around and saw Charles was pinned to the wall by Ryder as he choked him . My eyes widened as I gasped , " What the fuck ! "
I quickly stood beside them as I tried to pushed Ryder away from Charles . " Take your hands off of him Ryder . "
" No . I'm going to kill him . " He said , clenching his jaws as he tightened the hold on Charles's neck .
I was starting to freak out but Charles on the other hand just let out a laugh as he glared to him . " It should be my line , Alpha . " He said , mocking Ryder at the same time .
In a blink of eyes , Charles pushed Ryder away , throwing him across the room but Ryder managed to get up on his foots . I noticed that his eyes starting to glow up and I knew his wolf was ready to come out . I knew what happen if I didn't stop this . I knew the consequence that Charles would face because Ryder was the Alpha . Disobeying or challenging a alpha could cause a death .
When I saw Ryder was ready to lung to Charles , I quickly made my way between the two of them . " STOP ! "
I had both of my hands over their chest as I could felt they were breathing hardly . Their chest vibrating slowly as they kept growling to each other . Their fangs were already on display and their eyes were no longer the normal ones .
" I said stop ! " I growled , pushing them apart when they didn't stopped growling .
They tried to come to us other again but were stopped by my father as he walked into the living rooms with my brothers . " What the hell is happening? "
Neither one of us was brave enough to answer him not until Ryder walked to my father after giving me the look that I couldn't think what was it .
" I'm taking your daughter to my pack this evening . " He said , using his Alpha tone . His face was death serious . Me on the other hand , could feel my jaws fell to the floor , shocked to the news .
" What ? " My brothers and Charles asked in unison , shock evidenced on the face . While my father was still calm as always .
I was shocked again with what my father said next . " It's not my decision to make , Ryder . "
I gasped . " Father , you know it ? " He sighed as he ran his hand through his hair in frustration.
" Know what ? " Damien asked .
" What the hell that you didn't tell us Izzy ? " Jacob asked , crossing his arms over his chest .
" It's nothing . And I won't come with him . That's my decision . " I replied , letting out a sigh and walked away .
" I have been waiting for God knows how long and you said it was nothing when I found you ." Ryder snapped , stopping me from walking away .
" It's nothing to me and maybe you can just reject me so I can be nothing to you too . " I replied without looking at me .
I heard gasps from my brothers and soon I was pulled into a kiss by Ryder .
