*chapter 3 *

i go ito one of ralphs shelters for privacy 

 my joggers are tattered , i grab a kinfe and cut them into shorts . I turn around to go and find jack, but there's no need to , he's standing at the entrance to the shelter his trousers in to shorts , his toned arms streching

" we need to start going ." He says and sharpens his stick with a kinfe , looking me up and down like a piece of meat , and this time it's me smirking , pushing past him and i head towards the forest .

Jack runs after me and reaches my side . "Did you have a nice time in the states ?" he asks attempting to make small talk , "It was amazing." i reply .

Then there was a rusle i the bushes "whats was-?"

My sentance gets cuts off , with jacks torso on my back , his hand covering my mouth , "Don't make any sudden movements . " he says , a pig comes into view , jacks eyes concentrate onto the pig , he's ready to kill . he throws the knife at the pig ,and misses . 

"shit." he says and punches the tree , blood seeps through his hand " Oh my god jack " i say.

"I'm fine ,im fine don't worry ." he reassures me , i grap his knife and cut my shirt , so it now fits just under my bra , he doesn't keep his eyes off my cheast whilst doing so , i grab the fabric and wrap it around his hand , "you'll be okay now ." i smile up at him .

" we should get back now , i've got fire watch at sunset ." 

" okay ." i reply , and we start heading towards camp .

We arrive back at camp and me and jack take our seperate ways , i  see ralph fixing up the shelters , i run over to him .

"hey ralph ! " i say , he smiles at me , " oh wow . " he says looking at my shorts riding up my leg , my t- shirt  only just covering my breasts . he looks away and bites his lip . i giggle , i look away to see Jack galring at ralph , his fists clenching , showing off his arm muscles , i shake my head at him and he relaxes .

*2 hours later*

"Hey guys , lets tell scary stories !" jack says smirking , looking straight at me . 

the boys sit in a circle , i find a gap between sam n eric and sit with them .

"If you wanted a seat , you could've just asked me . " jack says under his breath .

5 minutes later

The pus was everywhere.He could feel it and, all the while,the thing behind him kept coming closer.And then, suddenly,he realised it wasn't any normal plantsor bushes he was trying to run through.It wasn't the leaves or plantsbrushing up against him,touching his arms and face.It was thousands of claws,long claws, grasping at him,trying to stop himand hold him for the thing.And he tried to get away, but they held on,choking him. He tried to scream. Argh! "

Jack shouts , eric screams . "Jack , there's 8 year old's here !" i shout , " just take a joke sometime , ava ." jack says , i roll my eyes and start to head towards the nearest shelter , "

1 hour later

it's freezing , im shiverig , i shouldv'e stayed out there with the boys , before i kow it im crying , about Jack , about  dad , about everything , i feel a prescence enter my room , i look up and it's jack .

"why are you here ?" I ask , 

"i heard you crying . " he replies whilst shrugging ,

i look up at him and smile . " hey your shiverring , " he says , he sits down next to me and wraps his arms around me . He takes his jacket off , revealing his abs and hands it to me . "thak you , " i say and snuggle into him .
