pale skin, blue
lips, and ink
stained
fingertips,
you were
a sight
to be hold.
with your
messy
hair, and
shinning
eyes,
I watched
you as
the letters
poured out
of your soul,
to float
into space
and dance
with the
air, before
each syllable
elegantly took
a spot on the
white sheet,
forming
a magnificent
combination of
words,
that will spark
a fire in the
heart of whoever
decided to
read it and
set his
whole body
ablaze.
I was
mesmerised
by your beauty,
with those
light flecks
scattered on
your cheeks,
I could
swear stars
fell from the
sky and
landed on your
face.
you were
everywhere,
your dusty
scent that
my lungs
loved to inhale,
never left
my side and
always reminded
me of old
poetry books,
it was
as if you
were one
with the
universe.
and with that
realisation, I
pushed
myself knowing
that wherever
I might fall,
your arms
will catch me
before I'll hit
the ground.
