SIXTH CHAPTER

I was walking towards the Cafeteria to get some food in my hungry stomach when a huge crowd got to my attention. The weird part was I'd never seen anyone around our school notice board before, where all the loads of important stuff about meetings, requirement for certain jobs and other stuff was pinned.

And I'd noticed that there had been something weird going on since this morning. Considering I had zilch friends, I didn't know what all the buzz was about. I hadn't seen Gia in our English class today. I wondered where she could be. She was all sort of bad girl but, she never flunked class before. Was what I did a lot bigger of a deal I'd realized in my drunken state?

It made me yell profanities at myself.

I hadn't even realised when I had passed through the crowd hovering all around me and now was staring at a slightly blur picture of my sister making out.

Oh god!

I looked closer just to be sure before I let the truth sink in me.

The guy wasn't Jacob.

Suddenly, my eyes stung with tears and my breath hitched in my throat. Not because my evil sister cheated on Jacob. Or that she was making out in my room. But, because... Ky knew.

I didn't know if anyone else even noticed Ky's head slightly peeking out of my curtains behind my sister, but I definitely did.

What was Ky doing there?

Why didn't he told me about it?

Ky knew it and he didn't think to mention it to me this morning?

Why wouldn't he tell me?

He never hid something before.

Honestly, nothing hurt more than knowing Ky hid something from me.

He always told me everything. I meant it... Everything.

Because, that's us. We always tell each other everything.

***

I'd been waiting for almost half an hour for Gia in the parking lot, sweating like a pig while the sun tried to barbecue me. Almost the entire school has already taken off and the parking lot seemed suddenly somewhat haunted without anyone or any car there.

I groaned looking at my phone when a text from mom appeared telling me my evil twin had just came home with a friend.

Wow!

I stomped my feet on the ground Annoyed? Mad? Both!

Honestly my rage and agitation wasn't just about her. It was about stupid stupid Ky and then about the jerk Jacob was. I knew that Jacob had only invited me out of gratitude to thank me for last night and I didn't know why but, I thought maybe he was indirectly asking me out or something. But, all of those extremely stupid thoughts crashed and broke into million pieces when I saw him standing at his car fifteen minutes ago with a girl hanging on his arm. He was flirting with her. Clearly my sister and he wasn't in as much love as they'd thought.

I started the car and rushed out of the deserted parking lot, driving towards the Cafe.

I was soo mad at him. How could he miss that detail out?
