**•**Blaine's POV**•**
It's rare to fall in love with your high school sweetheart and then propose to him just before you graduate high school isn't it? Well, Blaine had heard stories of this happening before, but still, it amazed him that it had been this easy. There Kurt was, hair flipped back, designer shirt, skinny jeans and all ruffling through wedding magazines and party planning brochures. His forehead was creased in a way that Blaine found unquestionably cute.
Blaine cocked his head and beamed at Kurt, totally lost in the moment. This was really happening! They were getting married!
"Blaine!"
Kurt's impatient tone snapped him out of his daydream. "I asked you a question!"
Blaine shook his head, clearing his drifting mind. "Yeah, what d'you say?"
Kurt raised his eyebrows apprehensively. "I asked you if you wanted red to be a part of our colors!"
Wedding colors. Right. "Red's fine." he agreed absent-mindedly.
Kurt pushed the papers aside. "You sure you want red? I was only saying that because it's McKinley colors."
"Let's do maybe a dark red then. More of a romantic shade." Blaine inputted. Colors didn't matter to him. Fancy decorations didn't matter to him. He just wanted to devote the rest of his life to this man next to him. However, they had set the wedding for sometime in the late fall (possibly November) around the time of year when Blaine and Kurt had first met at Dalton Academy. It was late August now and the wedding, just that one day, would take months to prepare. The two of them were enjoying being Happily Engaged. It had been just over a year since the grand proposal at Dalton. Now was Crunch Time, well almost at least.
"Good. You've made a decision." Kurt got up and pushed in his chair. "Because I feel like I've made most of them." He gathered all the papers and put them in a folder. "I'm making dinner. We have company tonight. I know you have NYADA stuff to study so I'd do that for the time being."
Homework. Boy did Blaine have that! He was a sophomore now at NYADA, the school for the arts in NYC. They had just started class and already he had so much on his plate!
Kurt was a junior along with Rachel. He had just auditioned for his first musical, Wicked. He was hoping for a spot in the Ensemble. He hadn't received The Call yet. They had told him it would be a while before final decisions were made.
Blaine wasn't doing much special. Sure he was making decent money performing on the weekends at the diner where Kurt and Santana worked, but that was nothing compared to Kurt's schedule. Mostly Blaine had NYADA studying and rehearsing.
