**•**Kurt's POV **•**

Kurt stood and took Blaine's hand. They made their way to the front and faced Brittany.

"Okay. So, Santana and I were asked to sing a song and we wanted to dedicate it to you two. We thought now that you are tied by an invisible knot for forever we wanted to wish you the best in your new paradise." Brittany said. "So if you would like to dance together or whatever, that would be grand."

Then Santana began whistling a tune that Kurt recognized. It was Paradise by Coldplay.

The DJ turned on the song's karaoke track and Brittany began:

"When she was just a girl

She expected the world

But it flew away from her reach

So she ran away in her sleep"

Santana joined in:

"Dreamed of para- para- paradise

Para- para- paradise

Para- para- paradise

Every time she closed her eyes

Whoa-oh-oh oh-oooh oh-oh-oh"

Brittany soloed on the next verse:

"When she was just a girl

She expected the world

But it flew away from her reach

And the bullets catch in her teeth"

When the girls began singing, Kurt turned to his partner. "Dance with me?"

Blaine tilted his head in the adorable way he always did, "Why of course!"

Kurt placed a hand on Blaine's hip and Blaine placed a hand on Kurt's shoulder. They clasped their other hands together like a clam shell, Kurt's fit perfectly over Blaine's slightly bigger palms.

Slowly they swayed together. Blaine pulled Kurt closer to him and placed his mouth just next to Kurt's ear. "This song isn't really what I pictured us dancing to."

Kurt leaned into Blaine, making his breaths even with his soul mate. "I know, but think of the chorus, not the verse. We are just one step closer to reaching paradise. Even if the two of us never make it to the real Eden we will always know we had our own little paradise here, together."

Blaine pulled away and smiled, "You always know the right words. They always make sense. You're like the sirens in The Oddessey, minus the cannibalistic part. Your beautiful and convincing, you know my deepest desires and needs... I could go on and on about my love for you."

Kurt stepped back, catching Blaine by surprise, and twirled out and then under Blaine's arm. When he spun back in he laughed a little, "I can always change..." he teased.

"Then I hope I never meet The Cannibalistic Kurt Hummel." Blaine responded.

"You never know when he might come out from hiding." Kurt said as he leaned over and kissed Blaine gently on the cheek.

Blaine responded by running his hand over Kurt's neck, sending a tingle down Kurt's spine, and then kissing his ear.

For the rest of the song they just looked into each other's eyes, conveying a commitment to one another and to no one else. It was a gaze that they kept only for each other, Kurt's stunning blue fixed on Blaine's deep hazel.

For that moment it was just Kurt with Blaine and Blaine with Kurt, in their own dimension. Everyone else faded out, even Brittany's voice. Kurt suddenly felt the urge to keep dancing with Blaine, all night and for all eternity, but the song had ended and the night was young.
