Akeith:

Once again I was on the move.

Luckily this time I was able to get my money and plans from my apartment. I gathered up the few sets of clothes I had and put them in a bag as well as my plans and money, which were secure in a small safe, just in case.

You never can be too careful.

With my plans, money, and a few nourishment items in a bag I recently purchased, I swing it over my shoulders and leave the apartment.

I was still severely injured, but I couldn't risk resting at the moment. Right now i just had to keep moving and hope that nothing was that fucked up. Since i couldn't feel pain, i couldn't tell what was wrong with my body, which sucked.

It was morning, around 6 o'clock, a perfect time to be on the move. No people, or other problems that could get in the way, it was cool out so I didn't have to worry about getting hot while I walked from place to place until I could catch a trustworthy ride to wherever I'm going.

I decided after a mental debate to return to the very first town I went to when I escaped from the facility. It was across 4 states so it would take some time to get there, but hopefully it would be worth the travel. There was a lot of small country towns that direction. More forest and pastures than cities. With more land and forest, that meant more hiding places.

I just hope the killer wouldn't follow me.

I almost snorted.

How stupid of me to think.

Of course he would, apparently I'm his new play toy.

Walking out of the apartment, I don't even spare a glance back as I continue towards the exit of the complex building. Before I go, I leave my keys at on the desk of the apartment offices, and finally leave.

I walk down the empty sidewalks of the town, my face blank and lacking any emotion. I faintly felt the buzzing from the soreness of my decently tended to injuries as i walked. The wind blew in my face, allowing me to feel the cool air as well as smell the fresh--ish air through my nose. As I walk, my hair flipped and twirled around in my face from the wind, and my jacket ruffles.

I didn't mind.

I loved feeling wind.

I walk for 30 minutes to get outside of the city, making sure the keep an eye out and cover my tracks. Another several minutes later I find myself at the front of a line to get a train ticket, and as I spoke to the man, I put up a bored façade.

"What can I do for you sir?" The man asks kindly.

I look up at the available trains and I scan over the list several times before speaking. My hand was stuffed in my pocket as I ran my other hand through my hair.

"One ticket to Vindetty." I say simply and slightly loud.

He nods before printing the ticket.

"That will be $50 sir." He says handing me the ticket.

I pull out a $50 and slap it on the counter before leaving, my back securely sitting on my shoulders. I walk outside to wait on the train, looking around for anything suspicious.

Nothing.

Spotting a train with the markings 407A I walk towards it and stealthily get within a cart. It was not a passenger train, it was a train that hauled equipment and such. This train is not going to take me to the down Vindetty, but to Harleton, the place I had intended to go to.

Why did I pay for a ticket for the wrong place?

To put the killer on the loop.

From the moment I walked out of the apartment, he had his unblinking eyes on me. I could feel it, and with the direction of the wind I smelt his disgusting stench with my advanced sense of smell. He followed me to the train station, he was there when I bought the ticket, but he was not there when I got into the train I am now.
