Akeith:

Darkness, complete darkness, it was alluring, captivating. I never wanted to leave....

"Hey, wake up." I hear a voice say stirring me from my sleep, from my peace.

Wait, a voice?

My eyes shot open and with a snarl, I flipped to my feet my bag in hand. I found myself coming face to face with a very surprised looking young man, perhaps in his early twenties like myself.

"Whoa there ninja-dude, didn't mean to scare you or whatever." He said holding his hands up in surrender.

"What do you want?" I snapped before his eyes lingered over to my shoulder, where my blood had soaked through my jacket.

"What happened? Are you alright?" The man questioned, his brown eyes looking at me with concern and curiosity.

"That's none of your concern." I grunt as I brushed past him and jump from the train cart and onto the ground. As I walk away I hear the thump of shoes hitting the ground before footsteps began to follow me.

"Look, you look really badly injured, I want to help." The man insisted catching up.

I shot the man a dull look, my eyes darkening with irritation.

"Do yourself a favor and mind your own business, you might regret even looking at me." I say with dark threat, I wasn't even going to try and be semi friendly, I had too much to deal with I don't need to add a nosy man to the list.

The man of course ran after me, go figure.

"Please, at least let me tend to your wound then I'll leave you alone, I promise." He said holding his hand up in promise, his curly dark brown, nearly black hair getting in his face making him shake his head. His cheeks had light freckles speckled over them, and his cheeks had dimples.

To another woman or girl he was a looker, not model looks, but what they called puppy-cute or whatever.

Not that his looks really mattered, the boy didn't matter at all to be truthful.

I sigh, and give the man a narrowed eye look.

"Very well, but after that leave me be, or you will regret ever bothering me." I say with a dark threat, making him stiffen and visible gulp.

"Y-you got it man." He said obviously trying to hide his stutter but failing miserably.

I could tell by the look on his face he was thinking just what in the hell he had gotten himself into.

"Uh..follow me." He said leading me towards a small shed. Walking inside I look around, an office, cluttered with papers, junk food, take out containers, I'm sure a few nude magazines of women from what I could see, and on a shelf was a first-aid box.

I could've told the boy that I've already tended to the wound, but I could already tell he was one of those people that didn't take no for an answer unless threatened.

"Please take a seat uh....." He said looking at me questioningly, wanting a name.

"Akeith." I deadpan in a harsh tone.

He gulps again.

"Right, well uh I'm Devon... if you could uh...take a seat there and remove your jacket." He said pointing to a fold up chair.

I said nothing as I did as he directed. I deep scowl on my face. I wasn't worried about him finding out my gender, even though I only had on a tank top underneath. I was flat chested and toned enough I could pass off as a feminine built man.

"Whoa, you already took care of it, why didn't you say so?" Devon said.

I look at him.

"Because you still would have annoyingly insisted to help." I growl.

He chuckles nervously and as he began to replace my bandages with clean ones, he clumsily spills a bottle of peroxide on my top, making him yelp as he stumbled up.

"I-I'm so sorry! Here let me take care of that!" He said as he scrambled closer to me as he tried to dry off my shirt while I tried to tell him to knock it off and calm down.

Only he doesn't in his panic and scrambling around trying to fix his mistake the sound of a loud rip is heard. The room goes completely still and silent. My top ripped down the middle, Devon gaping in horror, and I growled with aggravation. The top was already weak and thin, add a clumsy and foolish boy trying to dry it off caused it to rip, and to my luck....Right down the fucking middle.

"Y-Your....y-your a g-g-g....." He stutters.

I roll my eyes.

"For god's sake spit it out." I snap only he continues to stutter, a blush creeping up on his face.

"Yes I'm a girl for fuck's sake how hard it that to say?!" I snarl as he yelps and stumbles back.

"I'm SO sorry, SO SO SO SORRY!!" He says with shame, horror, and complete embarrassment.

"I had no idea!!" He adds.

I snort as I stand up with a passive look

"That was the point, for you NOT to know." I say with a growl as I put on my jacket and button it up.

I pull out my knife and pin him to the wall with the knife to his throat.

"You didn't see me, and you do not know me. Got it?" I snap with a growl.

Its for your own good.

He nods, his eyes wide as saucers as his breathing picked up, till he was hyperventilating after a few moments he begins to gasp for air, even though I have no grip on his neck.

What the hell?

"A-a-sth-ma." He gasps then manages to get out a few more words.

"De-sk in-haler." He said.

Oh for fuck's sake!!

I calmly go over to the desk and get the inhaler then walked back to the gasping boy and hand the inhaler to him. I watch as he takes a few puffs, and I turn and began to walk away. I walk out the door and towards my intended destination.

And to my luck the boy did not follow.
