15: Scarlett Rosemary Gaunt

A week has passed since we got back to Hogwarts after Christmas Holiday. It's Saturday so there are no classes today. We still don't know who gave the information for that article to The Daily Prophet and Rita Skeeter. We all still think that it was Ron who gave Rita Skeeter the information but no one knows for sure.

Scarlett and I are supposed to be hanging out in the library today. She needs help studying for her OWLs and I, since I've already taken them and passed with all Outstandings, said that I would help her. I also want to hang out with my little sister. We haven't gotten a chance to hang out basically all term. And we only hung out a few times just the two of us over Christmas Holiday.

I grab my messenger bag and walk out of my dormitory. Blaise, Brendan, and Draco are all sitting around the fire place in the Common Room. I walk up to them. Draco smiles up at me.

"Where are you going love?" He asks.

"Library. I'm helping Scarlett study for her OWLs" I reply.

"Those aren't for another four months!" Blaise exclaims.

"There isn't anything wrong with studying not last minute, Blaise" I say, rolling my eyes.

"But she has four bloody months until those tests, Brie. That's a little far away to study for" Blaise says.

"Not really, I did the same thing in Fifth Year" I replied.

"No wonder you got the best scores out of our year" Blaise says, rolling his eyes.

"Exactly, my friend. Studying does wonders" I say sarcastically.

"I know that" Blaise says flatly.

"Good" I reply.

"Did either of you two think that Louis kid was like the perfect match for Scarlett?" Brendan asks, his gaze going between Draco and I.

"Yeah, actually. He seems like a nice kid. You and Daph did a great parent interoggation so Margarey won't have to do one if they ever meet" I reply.

"Brie, you know she'll do one anyways" Brendan says with a laugh.

"I know, Brendan. Poor kid" I say, clicking my tongue.

"He did seem really good for Scarlett though and they get along really well" Draco says.

"I know and she usually doesn't get along with people outside of the family that well" Brendan says.

"Okay guys, I'm off. I'll ask her if there's anything going on between the two of them if I get a chance" I say.

I kiss Draco on the forehead before walking out of the Common Room. I walk out of the Dungeons and to the Library.

But halfway to the library I get stopped. I accidentally walked into Harry and Ginny. They're holding hands since they're a couple. Ginny doesn't have to wait for Harry any longer. I'm pretty sure they're getting married pretty soon after graduation, like Draco and I. But their marriage isn't arranged like mine, obviously. The Weasley's and the Potters would never set up an arranged marriage.

"Oh hey Brie! How were your holidays?" Ginny asks with genuine interest on her face and in her voice.

"My holidays were great. How about you two?" I ask.

"They were good. Your presence was missed at the Burrow however but we get why you weren't there since you and Ron don't speak anymore" Harry says.

"Yeah. Mum, Dad, and George really thought you were going to go so they were surprised when they were told you weren't" Ginny says.

I feel bad about not going to the Burrow for the holidays, but I'm not going to go while Ron and I's relationship is like how it is right now.

"Okay. I'll try and visit sometime after graduation" I reply.

"Okay. It was nice talking to you" Harry says.

I nod in agreement. It's nice talking to old friends after not seeing them for a while. They continue down the hallway and I continue on to the library.

I arrive at the Library and Scarlett is using one of the small study rooms. I place my messenger bag down on the table.

Does she know about Georgina?

I jump slightly, not enough for Scarlett to notice anything just enough for me to feel it. Who in the world is Georgina?

"Scar, who's Georgina?" I ask.

Scarlett's eyes go wide and her face goes pale. Who is this Georgina and what did she do to trigger such a reaction from Scarlett?

"G-Georgina is our older sister. She would be twenty-two but she's deceased. She died during the war because she sided with Voldemort" Scarlett says, looking as if she was going to start crying.

"Oh, okay. Let's start studying!"

We study nonstop for the next three hours. After a long three hours of studying, Scarlett had to call for a half an hour study break.

"What's the deal with Louis? Are you two a thing?" I ask her.

"N-n-no" Scarlett stutters, her face turning beet red.

"How long?" I ask her.

"October" She replies.

"And why don't Brendan and I know?" I ask.

"I never get to see the two of you. And you would tease me for dating him" Scarlett says, her cheeks somehow getting redder each second.

"I wouldn't, Brendan might though. Along with Blaise and Draco" I say.

"Please don't tell them! At least not for awhile because I would rather tell them myself" Scarlett says in a pleading tone.

"Okay, Scar I won't tell them. You're going to have to tell Brendan and Mum eventually" I say.

"I know I know, but the time isn't right" Scarlett says.

"Why not?" I ask.

"Because Louis hasn't told his parents or siblings yet either" She says.

"Oh. Okay" I say.

"How are you and Draco?" Scarlett asks.

"We're doing pretty good, actually" I said.

"When's the Wedding again?" Scarlett asks.

Daphne, Pansy, and Ginny are going to be the Bridesmaid at my wedding. Scarlett is going to the the Maid of Honour. Brendan is going to be Draco's best man at the wedding on top of becoming his brother-in-law.

"July 31st" I reply

Draco and I decided on that date because it doesn't interfere with Hogwarts or graduation. Daphne and Brendan are also getting married after graduation but not until September or October.

"Cool. Can Louis be my plus one?" She asks.

"Of course" I reply.

We spend the rest of the day in the library, talking or studying. Scarlett and I actually get along quite well. Probably better then how Brendan and I get along.

She is my little sister after all so I hope to get along well with her. And if Louis breaks her heart he'll have a group of angry Slytherin's out for him.

But it seems that Scarlett really likes him. I don't know if she's had a boyfriend before Louis so I hope he doesn't try to hurt her or anything.
