Ethan slammed on the brakes before he could crash into the car in front of us, and I could finish what I was saying. Why there was a car in front of us in our lane? I'm not sure, but we were both about to find out. We got out of the car to check it, and get an expectation from the irresponsible driver. Ethan's car was untouched as we were. We now looked and paid attention to the opposite driver. Their windows were tented, so we couldn't see through them. We made our way to the driver's side at the driver who has not gotten out with us. It's the least he could do as he could've just killed all of us.

"Excuse me!?" Ethan shouted since their window was rolled up.
He repeated himself before knocking on their window.

Finally, the driver rolled down the window, and looked at us. It was a woman who looked oddly familiar. I could've sworn I've seen her before. With the sharp features and pale skin against her red lipstick. It was harder to match her with the person in my memory because she was wearing sunglasses that nearly covered her whole face.

"So sorry," she whispered out before dropping an envelope on the ground.

Before I could pick it up and return it to her, she drove off with the same amount of speed she had coming towards Ethan and I. Ethan cursed as he watched her drive away, but I decided to look through the envelope. I took out the note that was folded so neatly inside of it. Once I began reading, I widened my eyes at what was said. My whole body began to heat up, and a lump in my throat arises as I felt like I was about to throw up. My palms began to get sweaty, and my mind raced on who the woman was. Who was she?

"What was in the envelope?" He asked walking back over to me.

I quickly closed it before he could walk any closer.
"It was nothing. Just an empty envelope she dropped," I lied.

"Weird," he whispered before looking back to where she drove off.

I shoved the envelope in my pocket before agreeing with him. We walked back to the car together, and I couldn't have been more glad to sit down. I felt faint since I read that note that was meant for me. Someone is blackmailing and stalking me, but someone was trying to kill the both of us.

"What did you have to tell me?" Ethan asked me.

I deeply but silently sighed at my earlier thoughts. There's no way I could tell him now. Not with the envelope that lays in my hands.
"I forgot, but I'll tell you when it comes to me," I told him.

He nodded his head, but kept his eyes on the road as we couldn't have a repeat of what just happened. As he drove us to the location of his private jet, I was closing my eyes pretending to sleep, so Ethan wouldn't talk me. I had to remember where I've seen that woman before. She's the only person who knows the truth about me. A truth I've been trying to keep hidden for years.

Grayson's POV:
I knocked on her door before stepping back. I shoved my hands in my pockets as the cold was nipping away even at my covered body parts. The smell after it rains was as thick in the air as the fog in the skies. This was the downside of living in Seattle. It's always rainy and foggy making it impossible to see or breath. I felt suffocated.

Finally, the door opened revealing her in a robe with her hair in a bun. She looked as good as the day I saw her at the cafe. She ushered me in when she saw me. She closed the door behind me once I was in her apartment. I turned around once I took in her small housing to see her leaning against the door with her arms crossed. She looked at me from head to toe before looking into my eyes.
