Grayson's POV:
When I read my note, I didn't want to believe that Violet would be coming. It never said in there that she would be, but I had a gut feeling she was being blackmailed like me. Whoever this Lola girl is played her cards right in putting all of us in a vulnerable position, but I didn't even know how. How did she know me? And what did I do wrong to her that made me have to get dragged into this mess? I decided to ask.

"Alright, wait a minute," I said making everybody's eyes land on me. "I can see why Ethan and Sabrina are here because you all work together, but what's the connection to you and I, or Diana and you? I mean we don't even know you," I finished.

"But I know you. Now sit," she demanded us.
We waited for a moment, looking at each other, before following her command and sitting. Diana and I sat on one couch, close to each other, while Sabrina and Ethan sat on the other couch across from us.
"You all are here for a reason. Whether you know it or not, you all have either hurt and ruined my life, or been involved with the person who did. That's why my threats were so vile."

"What did we-"

"You'll find that out once Violet comes," she interrupted Sabrina.

"Which is?" Ethan asked.

"Any second now. I gave her until four since she does live in St. Louis. You should know that better than anyone Ethan," Lola told him.

I saw Sabrina shift uncomfortably at the mention of her, and Ethan sit straighter at the comment. We all stayed silent feeling any and every emotion. It wasn't until we heard more creaking did I hide my face. It's obviously Violet, the last person I wanted to see, but you can't forget somebody if they don't forget you.

Sabrina's POV:
I didn't have to turn my head to see who just walked into the room. A part of me felt bad for wrongfully accusing Violet of being behind this when she's just as much of a victim as we are. Ethan and I sat straighter the more she walked in because neither of us had an excitement of seeing her, but Grayson hid his face from her. I'm not sure why, but he did. Diana's eyes widened, and her chest was getting heavier each step Violet took. She looked nervous and shocked, and I wanted to know why. Did she know her?

She looked away from her once she came closer to all of us. Once Violet was in my sight, I saw she looked as distressed as the rest of us. Her eyes were red from either lack of sleep or crying, and her bags looked more apparent. Her eyes bounced from all of us making her curse before running a hand through her uncombed hair.

She closed her eyes and let it a stressed sigh. "What the fuck are we all doing here?" She asked

Lola laughed before we heard the wooden floor creak. The hairs on the back of my neck spiked up while goosebumps crawled on my skin. I slowly turned my head to look at where the creaking was. She erupted from the black shaded room that was to the side of us. There she was in the flesh. My coworker who I thought was my best friend. The girl who I trusted with my life was really the person who wanted me dead. Lola.

She was dressed in an all red strapless dress that fell past her heels. Her lips were coated in a blood red like her dress. One side of her hair was pinned, so the rest of her hair fell to the other side of her in heavy yet wavy curls. She was wearing a diamond necklace with a diamond bracelet and earrings to match.

She continued a slow walk that left us all in a trance. A trance that didn't want to make me look away because she moved like a snake, and like a snake you never knew when they were about to attack. She stood before the desk that was in front of the two leather couches facing each other. She looked at all of us again with a smirk on her face and her hands folded. She was so calm and polite about all of this pissing me off more. She enjoyed threatening and blackmailing us. She enjoyed finding out about our dirt. She's a psychopath.
