Grayson's POV:
"I really appreciate you doing this for me Grayson," Diana told me once Darius was strapped into his carseat.

I was driving him to school today as Diana was still a little down at what was said yesterday, and tired from the night shift she took last night. When I drove her to work, we had a heart to heart discussion on how this wasn't her fault. I told her I would never treat her like Tom did, and I would be here for her and Darius. She showered me in I love you's and kisses which made happy because I know how hard it is for her to open up and show her love for me after what her ex did.

"It's no problem," I told her.

"It's just I don't know how to repay you for all you're doing for us. I mean you're paying my rent, watching him when I'm not around, driving me to work, and so much more. We haven't even been dating for three months, and you're doing some husband shit."

I laughed before wrapping her arms around my waist. She laid her hands on my biceps since she would have to stand on her tippy toes to wrap her arms around my shoulders. She looked up at me with a smile. That smile could create world peace. It pissed me off how badly Tom treated her. I mean how could you mistreat a beauty like her?

"I'm doing things boyfriends who love their girlfriends should be doing. Repaying me isn't nesscary."

She smiled wider before standing on her tippy toes to kiss me. I pulled her closer to me, and kissed her harder. I could feel her smile in the kiss before she brought her hand up to caress my cheek. She broke away from the kiss to give me peaks around my face making me laugh.

"Mommy we have to go," Darius whined from the car making her stop, but us both laugh.

We parted, so I could get in the car while she went over to give Darius a kiss on the forehead.

"Remember to say thank you to Grayson when he drops you off, and be excellent in school. You understand?"

"Yes mommy."

"Good. I love you baby. Have a great day at school," she said before giving him one more kiss.

"I love you too mommy," he called out before she shut the door.

She waved at us, and we waved back before I drove off.

Throughout the car ride, Darius and I were doing spelling games with his spelling words since he had a quiz today. I thought it was pretty fucking stupid giving a group of six year olds a quiz on ten words when they're attention spans aren't very long, but my opinions weren't going to get him an A on that quiz. I caught on quick that Darius is a very determined little guy which is funny because he's still very young. Whenever he would get a word wrong, he would always say again again, or when he was trying to think of a word, he would yell out don't tell me.

"Alright last word," I said as we were in the drop off line.

I looked through the rearview mirror to see him nodding his head waiting for me to say the word. I snickered before giving him the word.
"Know."

He was quiet for a second before he furrowed his brows. "K-N-O-W."

"That is correct," I said just in time for us to be the next car.
He cheered while getting himself ready to get out of the car.
I turned around to look at him. "You're gonna do great on this quiz, buddy," I told him.

He smiled. "Imma get an A!"

"My man."

The teacher opened the door, and said hi to us before helping him out of the car.
"Bye buddy," I told him.
