What now?

I drove around Georgia still in shock. I had no clue where to go or what to do. Should I have told someone? But then my father's threat rang inside my head.

I gulp. I don't think I want to stay with anyone in my family right now because it would just make everything much worse and I really don't want to hear any questions right now. So where the heck am I gonna stay? I look at the cut on my arm that my dad decided to surprise me with. It kinda stings so I just grab a paper towel that I found and just wrap it around my forearm. Well that's gonna leave a scar.

I feel my phone vibrate and see ''Jenn:)" across the screen. Crap! I took a deep breath and tried to calm down then answered. ''Hello?" I said.

''Hey girl what's up?" Jenn asked.

"Just driving around." I replied causually

"How was your first year of college?" She asks.

"Lots of work. Really tired. But good, yeah."

"I suspected. You doing anything this summer?"

''Still thinking about it." I really was. My whole summer is pretty much ruined. So what the heck am I suppose to do?

"Oh well my friend and I just moved into an apartment and we have an extra bedroom so maybe you can.... Stay with us?" Jenn asks

Hey look. The universe is finally on my side.

''Honestly Jenn, that's the best offer someone has ever given me."

"Yes! Okay just call me when ur on the plane or something see you later!" Then she hanged up.

I start driving the direction where the airport is. I look through my purse and happily saw that I had enough money to buy a ticket.

Looks like I'm goin to LA for a while.

I finally made it to the airport feeling like a lost puppy. I look around and I see many people rushing to their planes, some are hugging eachother happily, and very tired looking people just walking around. I look around then see a lady at a desk.

I went up to the desk to ask when the next flight to LA is. "Excuse me is there any flights to Los Angeles California?"

''Yes, The next flight is in 5 hours ma'am" the women said.

I pay for ticket and do other important stuff for the flight, grab my suitcase and grab a seat to sit down. I never thought my life would ever be like this. I just know I have to be strong and act like nothing happened.
