"It is time." Is all I said as we watch an old woman with her children crying. I'm sitting on one of the benches near the coffin. The coffin where this man lay. Lifeless. Dead.
"You were a good man, a good father, and a good husband," I walked to him, his whole life playing from his eyes. "It is time to rest." As we leave. Leave the family he hold dear.
Humans have a limited time on this world.
They always mourn for their dead ones knowing they would all, one day, join them six feet under at some point in time.
I cannot understand them. Humans are complex creatures yet simpleminded.
I glance back once at his family as we walk away leading this soul to where it should be.
I am just a fetcher of souls.
I bring them to their destination.
I am what they call Grim Reaper.
