Dorm #12
"So man, where are you from?" Calum speaks to me, trying to build conversation.
"Oh uh Australia" I mutter.
"Me too!" His face lights up. He looks adorable when he does that. I swear it's like he's the happiest person in the world.
The awkward silence fills in, and suddenly the dorm room suddenly opens up.
"Calum I swear to God man I- oh hey" a Blondie approaches me and shakes my hand.
"Oh um hi" I smile.
He had blue sparkling eyes, which you could literally gaze at for an hour, and you won't get bored.
"Hey Luke. This is uh, Nick" Calum nods at me.
I wave at him, trying to not freak out that I had over three guys in my room. This Luke guy, Calum, and Ashton, who was the first person I talked to.
"Yo nick are you going to the party at matts?" A guy with coloured hair walks in the room.
How the hell does he know my name?
"This is Michael." Luke speaks.
"Sup brothaaaaa" I reply. All the guys look at me, amused.
I put my hand down, and feel my face heating up.
"Um Matt?" I try to ignore everyone staring at me.
"Mathew bro!! The most popular jock in this college! So basically what happened was that I was walking through the halls, and I bumped into Matt. It was kinda awkward at first, but he seemed like a really cool guy. I was picking his back pack from the ground, when suddenly this paper falls out of the bag. I hold it up in my hand and then Mathew sighs and asks me if I want to come to his party at 9, and I was like yeah sure." He speaks confidently.
"Oh yeah I'm in" Luke speaks, his Australian accent filling in the silence of the room.
"I'm in" Calum nods.
"Me too!!" Ashton giggles. Wow this guy giggles a lot.
"I wonder if Cass would be there"
Luke wonders aloud, as if he's thinking a lot.
"Cass?" I try to create conversation.
"Cassidy Lodge. She's Lukes crush" Calum shrugs.
"What about you mate?" Michael asks Calum, "aren't you looking for any girl?"
"Nah man, I think I'm probably going to call Skylar."
Skylar. Oh skylar. Seems familar doesnt it?? That skylar is ME. CRAP
"Sk-ylar?" I hesitate.
All the boys turn around and look at me.
"You know her?" Calum asks, confused.
"Oh uh no um" I reply, nervously.
I can't get it out of my head. Calum's talking about me, while I'm in my dorm room, dressed as a guy, with
Calum hood himself inside the room.
"When are you going to call her?" Ashton asks, all giddy.
"Now" he mumbles, as he takes his phone out, sliding his thumb over his iphone swiftly.
Oh no.
"I need to use the bathroom" I mutter, as I run out of the room.
As I make it to the college hall, I try to find a lonely place where I can attend Calum's call. I look around, and enter a dark room.
