Chapter 5 ~ The Decision

We arrive at the hospital. We walk inside and I notice that everyone and I mean everyone is staring at me. When I look at some of the patients inside with their wings I feel so naked without mine. A few minutes later my dad checks in with someone to help me figure out my head pain and see if i'm doing okay right now. But 30 minutes later  I see some nurses talking to each other and looking over at me in a very odd way... Then one of the nurses walk over to us and tell us bad news..

'' Hello, is the Charvi family?'' 

Author Note: Charvi is the last name of Ella's family i forgot to mention that in the beginning of the book. Now back to the story!

''Yes, this is us.'' My dad says with a serious face.

'' Well hello! How are you guys doing today?'' The nurse says in a happy tone.

'' We are fine, just tell us what's going on with my daughter. I know you are just waiting to spit out what you were saying with the other nurse earlier.'' My dad shouts out.

The nurse starts to tremble in fear from my dad.

''W-well your daughter can not be in this hospital because she isn't an angel or really cause the fact she doesn't have wings and we think she isn't really an angel.''

My dad face turns red and ''smoke blows out of his ears''

'' WHAT ARE YOU FU- FREAKING KIDDING ME? JUST CAUSE SHE DOESN'T HAVE WINGS DOESN'T MEAN SHE ISN'T AN ANGEL! I MEAN I KNOW SHE IS A BIT LATE COMPARED TO KIDS HER AGE BUT THIS IS JUST UNEXCEPTABLE! THIS IS A HOSPITAL GOD DAMN IT, TAKE HER AND SEE IF SHE IS OKAY!''

''I am terribly sorry.. but there is nothing I can do .'' the nurse starts to shrug her shoulders in and starts to cry.

''P-please c-calm down sir...''

'' Calm down? You want me to calm down? After what you said you want me to be calm? She has been bullied for so long i can not hold it any longer. I mean the fact a hospital would not do a simple check up on my daughter is just mutiny.''

I look over to the right and so does my dad and mom and we see the doctor walking over to us. I am pretty sure its because he heard all the yelling. He walks over to us and starts talking.

'' Hello Charvi family, but I cannot do a check up on someone who does not have wings. I cannot confirm whether or not this child is an angel or human. I would recommend going to the human world and doing a check up on her. I am sorry but she is not allowed in my hospital.''

I look over at my mom and dad and they seem speechless. I sigh and think to myself

'' This is all my fault if I wasn't born this would have never happened.. My parents wouldn't have to worry about their child not having wings yet.. No angel in history or from what I have read in the history books, not have their wings at my age...''

I stand up and tell my parents, '' I am sorry.. this is my fault.. sorry for being such a pain and causing so much trouble. I mean i am embarrassing you guys and you are legendary angels and that is very rare and here i am a runt angel or maybe i am not even an angel at all..''

I shed a tear and run out of the building. I run as fast i can away from the hospital. Even though I am not as fast as others with wings I am pretty fast on feet. I run and keep running and I end up finding Ezreal walking around with the key around his neck. I start crying and tears start pouring down my face and I fall on my knees and start bawling my eyes out while screaming. Ezreal comes running to me and slides on his knees and puts his arms around me and says,

'' Ella! Are you okay? What's wrong???''

I keep crying my eyes out and I wipe my eyes and I try to speak but nothing comes out and i just start bawling my eyes out again.

'' Ella...'' He hugs me and says '' It's going to be okay..''

I wipe my face with my arms and my eyes start to get red and puffy. Then I say to him,

'' N-n-no''

''Huh? What do you mean by no Ella?''

'' It won't be okay, I'm going to human world. I'm going to see whats wrong with me.''

Ezreal jumps and says, '' HUMAN WORLD?? What in the world are you thinking Ella?? Angels aren't supposed to go to the human worlds ever! Not even the Mystical Ancient Angels never went there. Well that's what I heard. Heh maybe they did go, I don't know rumors are just rumors, they might not even be the truth.''

'' I'm going and you can't stop me. I am NOT an angel I never was that's why  am so late for my wings. Also I just went to the hospital and they said they wouldn't do a check up on me cause they think I am human and I am dangerous and they won't do check ups or anything on non-angels, so they want me to go to the human world for a check up.''

''That's just plain dumb. Also you are an angel you were born from the legendary angels there's no way you can be a human unless your parents adopted you.''

'' I don't know, I don't fit in this world, I never have. I want to go to the human world and see if i can go to a hospital and see if they can figure out whats wrong with my head cause it still hurts like hell.''

'' Well mine does too and the doctors say I had a minor head concussion.''

'' I don't even know what's going on right now. I mean with these keys and the ground breaking and our heads constantly hurting. I mean isn't weird that Trevor's head wasn't hurting?? It's kinda mind boggling cause he passed out too I think and all three of us experience the same earthquake. This all is just confusing. OH AND the giant monster bowing down to me? Weird..'' I get up and wipe off all the dirt from my clothes.

'' Well if you want to go you can, but how will you go there? Is this the right decision?'' ~Ezreal~

"I- I haven't thought about that hehe... well maybe the library has some books on leaving our world and going to the human world. Maybe there is a portal or I don't know."

"Well even if you know how to get there,  do you think its the right think to do?"

"Well Ezreal, I'm not sure. But I just really want to leave here."

"Okay, but Ella we have to be super careful."

We start walking to the library hoping to find a book on how to get to the human world.
