~Kaylee's POV~

I rang up the last customer for today. It was a busy day here at the boutique, and I was exhausted. After saying goodbye to Lillie and Wren, I got in my car and drove to the grocery store. Even after work I still had errands to run. But me and my roommate would starve if I didn't go shopping soon.

The grocery store was rather crowded. My list of things to get was long. This was not going to be fun. I grabbed a cart, wanting to get in and out as fast as possible. When I walked through the doors, I made my way to the back of the store, so I would end up at the front, by the registers, when I was done.

Just then I saw a group of teenage girls giggling at the end of the aisle. Weird, why would anyone want to hang out at a grocery store? It's for getting food and going home.

Something wasn't right. As I made my way to the next aisle, there were more girls gathering around. I picked up my pace, wanting to get out of there as soon as possible. Then I felt my cart slam into something. I heard someone groaning.

"What the hell?"

I ran up to the hunched over man.

"I am so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going. Are you ok?"

He looked about my age, judging from his tall, muscular figure and dark brown curls. Wait a minute, I thought. Curls? Oh, shit, this isn't-

"Kaylee?" A pair of bright green eyes stared at me. Harry.

"Oh, Harry." I mentally groaned. So that's why there were so many girls here, they were looking for Harry. "Weren't you supposed to be here in two days?"

He smirked. "Yeah, but I wanted to surprise my mum and Gemma. How do you know that?"

"Your mom told me." I crossed my arms, arching an eyebrow.

He frowned. There was a moment of silence, before I decided to say something.

"What are you doing here?"

"Oh, I just had to pick up a few things for dinner tonight. Do you wanna come?"

"You really think I would want to have dinner with you?"

There was a hint of hurt in his eyes, but it was quickly replaced with humor.

"Whatever, Winona." I rolled my eyes. I hated it when I got called by middle name. It's pretty, but I have a first name for a reason.

"Excuse me." A woman tried to get through with her cart. I moved out of the way.

"I should get going. Um, bye." Harry walked out of the aisle. I shook my head. Did I really just run in to Harry Styles at the grocery store?

The cashier checked out my items, and I walked out to my car, the plastic bags rustling in the strong winds. My phone went off and told me that there was a storm coming. I guess I should get home fast. After loading my car, I drove home. What a day.

When I arrived at my house, it took a few minutes to bring all the groceries in, and after the frozen foods were away, I got distracted by Carlie whining at the sounds of the house. I comforted her after changing into different clothes.

The sky was getting darker by the minute, and thunder rattled the windows. Lightning strikes could be seen in the distance. It was pouring down rain, now. I absolutely loved storms. For some reason, they made me feel calm. Carlie, on the other hand, is terrified. She hated storms. She whimpered and put her head down, along with her ears.

Just then I heard a knock at the door. Who the heck could that be? My roommate, Lynn, usually didn't come home until late at night, and judging by the weather, she wasn't coming home any time soon.

I got up of the couch and unlocked the door. Now would be a great time to have a door with a peephole. When I opened the door, I saw a soaking wet Harry standing at my doorstep. Out of the couple billion people in the whole wide world(reference intended😜)...

"Harry, there's a storm coming. What the f*ck are you doing at my house?" I glared. The rain drops were hitting my bare legs, and my shorts and grey T-Shirt started to get spots on them. He handed me a ziploc container which was filled with what looked like food. Leftovers.

"I just wanted to bring you the leftovers from the awesome dinner you missed tonight." He smiled. I rolled my eyes. Is this guy for real? Who would walk two blocks just to give someone extra food? He was so stupid.

"Harry, what do you really want? I know you didn't come all the way over here for nothing."

"Actually, that's all I wanted to give you. But now that you ask...do you think I could dry off a bit? I just need to put my clothes in the dryer, It'll be quick." He stared down at me.

"Um, no. And even if I did let you, you wouldn't have any other clothes to wear."

"Actually, my clothes would dry in the same it takes me to take a shower."

I groaned. "There's no point in that!"

"Too bad, I'm staying. And taking a shower." He slipped his shoes off. Um, rude.

I can't believe I was actually lettting him in. What was I doing? This boy broke my heart three years ago, and now I'm letting him in my house? Ugh, Kaylee, what have you done? You hate him, and that's never going to cha-

"Hey, Kaylee." Harry smirked, waving a hand in front of my face. It was then when realized I was staring right at Harry's crotch. Whoopsies. Great going, Kaylee.

"Sorry, I was just thinking. Don't get any ideas, I don't like you." I scoffed, trying to hide the awkward.

Harry laughed, ignoring the last part. "Whatever floats your boat. See you in a bit." He walked towards the bathroom, leaving me standing on the cold tiles on the floor. Why was I doing this? I need to be more firm and let him know he's never getting me back. Ever.

I shuffled into the kitchen and got myself some ice cream. The rain wasn't letting up. For a moment, the lights flickered. Ugh. Please don't let the power go out. Dammit, I just jinxed it.

I heard the bathroom door open as I put my empty bowl in the sink. "Kaylee, get me a towel, will you?" Harry shouted.

"Nah." I yelled back as I opened the towel closet in the hall.

"Kayleeeee-"

"Bitch, relax, I'm coming."

Harry's head poked out of the bathroom. I could see part of a bird on Harry's chest. I wonder how many tattoos he's gotten since he left...

Just to annoy him, I walked slowly down the hall. "Kaylee, stop it, or I'm coming out there, and getting the towel myself." He glared.

"First of all, I don't have to bring you a towel. Second, I have something called eyelids, they can shield your eyes from things you don't want to see." I smiled sarcastically. He snatched the towel away from me when I got close enough.

Harry opened the door all the way, with a towel wrapped loosely around his waist. Tattoos covered almost his whole upper half. "Like what you see?" He smirked.

"No." I turned around.

He rolled his eyes and tried to squeeze past me in the tiny hallway. But the bedroom door had caught the end of his towel. He awkwardly wriggled his way around me and got his towel unstuck. We were practically chest to chest.

That was when the power went out.

Hay, what do you think of the second chapter? I tried to make it a little longer, it's the best I could do. I actually was really excited when I made this chapter, I don't know why, I guess I just had it all figured out. I'll update ASAP!
