Chapter 9

Hey guys! I am back with another request today :)  I have had a really good day today because one of my favorite writers on Wattpad put me in their dedication for a chapter in one of their books, and they are literally my idol. I'M SO HAPPY I FEEL LIKE A CHIHUAHUA ON CRACK RIGHT NOW AYEEEEE

Also, I usually don't update this frequently but with these requests I've found that I can just take a look at the prompt and just come up with an entire plot line in like ten seconds, so I reeeaaalllyyy need to write it down before I forget it.

Anyways, this request was from @seddiefreak just like last chapter:

"Sam gets upset realizing how she doesn't have a normal loving mother and she gets help from Freddie"

I really enjoyed writing this chapter because Sam and Freddie can really bond over their crazy mothers, and it was really fun to write that connection between the two :D Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it  "ψ(｀∇')ψ

"Carls, we need to talk!", Sam yelled as we walked into the Shay's apartment.

"Sure, what's up?", Carly asked as she grabbed a bowl of fruit from the fridge. 

"I got into a fight with my mom again.", Sam replied, nearly growling the word mom. 

"What happened this time?", Carly said, sighing as she flopped onto the couch and patted the seat next to her, beckoning Sam to come over and sit.

"She forgot to pay the water bill again, and then yelled at me for now showering for a week straight!", Sam yelled frustratedly. 

"A whole week? Ew."

"That's not the point Carly! The point is my mom is a lunatic and she doesn't even care about me!"

"That's not true, she's your mother, or course she cares about you."

"No she-", Sam started, but Carly shushed her. 

"I'm not really the person to talk to about this. Sure I have some issues with my parents too, but I think Freddie relates to you more."

Sam groaned. She really did not want to deal with that nub.

"But I don't wanna talk to Freddie."

Carly gave her a pointed look. Sam doesn't budge easily, but she knew how to persuade her best friend. 

"Please just give him a chance. For me?", she asked. 

"Fine."

Sam found Freddie right where she thought he would be, on the fire escape. 

"Hey Sam.", Freddie said.

"Hey Fredbag."

"What's up?"

"Carly made me come over here to talk to you about my mom. She said I could relate better or some chiz like that."

"Oh. Well, what's going on?"

"My mom got mad at me for not showering for a week even though she was the one who forgot to pay the water bill. I'm just sick of her, why can't I just have a normal mother?"

"Oh, don't get me started on non-normal mothers. My mom makes me sign a contract ensuring that a shampooed twice."

"My mom's been to jail 23 times for stealing meat products."

"My mom implanted a tracking chip in my brain so she knows where I am."

"My mom is almost 50 and still hits on Italian men."

"My mom makes me wear flea repellent underwear."

Sam fought back a laugh, because let's face it; even if Mrs. Benson was a nutcase, that was still really funny. Now wasn't the time though, so she kept it under control. 

"I guess we both have pretty weird moms, don't we?", Sam said finally. 

"Yeah definitely weird," Freddie replied, "but even if we don't have normal mothers, we still are lucky to have such great family."

"What do you mean by that? Neither of us have much family, you only have your crazy mom and I have mine and an annoyingly perfect twin sister."

"No, I mean Carly and Spencer. And even Gibby, their all family to us, Sam. They were always there for us."

"I guess your right. You know, your not so bad Fredbag."

Sam stopped. She didn't mean to say that, it just came out. She needed to leave before all the mushy stuff got to her. 

"Does this mean you'll stop hurting me?", Freddie asked hopefully.

"Fat chance."
