Two months later, it was Sawyer's fourth birthday and he was back in Boston. I was beginning to show a little bit at the end of my third month. Reilly and I were planning to announce it sometime soon. But first, we were going to tell Sawyer.

Even though we already picked names, we would always think of new ones and now we had a list. Cheyenne, Melissa, Allison, Lindsey, Haley, And Josie for the girls with either Elaine, Christine, or Jane as a middle name. For the boys, we had Colton, Ty, Liam, Josh, Daniel (Danny), Bryan, Cooper, and Max with either Allen, James, or Nathan as a middle name. We were both satisfied with the list.

We had also both began apartment hunting in Boston. Reilly loved living in the city, and we needed to get out of the place we shared with Bart, Dougie, and Hannah, who had moved in with Bart. Things were getting crowded, especially with a baby on the way.

Sawyer had woken us up extra early, and we were now eating breakfast in the kitchen. Reilly fixed everyone pancakes.

"Daddy said he's taking me skating today," Sawyer said.

"He did?" I asked as Reilly joined the table with two glasses of orange juice.

"Yeah! He said it was one of my presents," Sawyer smiled. I glanced up at Reilly and he nodded.

"We have a present for you right now," I told him with a smile.

"What is it?" he asked, getting ready to jump out of his chair.

"You're going to have a little brother or sister," Reilly told him. Sawyer's eyes lit up.

"Really?" he squealed. I nodded. "So which is it?"

"We don't know yet, buddy," Reilly said, smoothing Sawyer's hair down.

"Will you tell me when you do?" he asked, giving Reils the puppy dog look.

"You'll be the first to know," he assured him. Sawyer grinned and returned to his pancakes.

"First to know what?" Dougie asked, coming into the dining room area. Sawyer piped up before we could stop him.

"If I'm getting a little brother or a little sister," he said proudly. Dougie looked at both of us, confused.

"We weren't going to tell anyone just yet," I explained, "but I'm pregnant."

"You're pregnant?" he asked, his voice rising several octaves.

"Who's pregnant?" Hannah yelled, thumping into the room. Well, the cat was out of the bag.

"I'm pregnant," I answered. Bart came in, placing his hands on Hannah's shoulders.

"Katie's pregnant?" he asked.

"I'm gonna be a big brother!!" Sawyer said. Hannah laughed and ruffled his hair. Sawyer gave her a look.

"Please don't do that," he said. "Daddy says good flow is important."

"Oh, god, you taught him about flow?" I asked with a laugh.

"Hey! At least he used his manners," Reilly pointed out. I laughed. Reilly reached out and fixed Sawyer's "flow."

I couldn't have been more excited to the baby to come.

It was after practice a few weeks later when Reilly made sure everyone stayed in the locker room so he could tell everyone and talk to Caryn, the girl who runs the Bruins twitter and does interviews with with the guys.

I had brought Sawyer along and was on the bench, helping him lace up his skates.

{Reilly's POV}

Caryn waved me over to where she was sitting with her laptop and camera. She's a really sweet person and I'm glad she's our interview and twitter person.

"So," she began, "you're going to be a dad to a second child! What's it like?"

"I'm super excited," I answered. "I had just gotten out to Texas when I found out my fiancée, girlfriend at the time, was pregnant with Sawyer, so I didn't spend much time with him until recently when she moved to Boston."

"No one has ever really considered you being a dad," she said. "So how do you help out with your son?"

"I feed him, I take care of his hair, and he hates it when people ruffle his hair," I laughed. "I also take him skating a lot."

"So you're basically trying to raise a hockey player?" Caryn laughed.

"I'm not pushing him towards hockey. He likes watching me play, and he tells me he wants to go skating so he can be like me and his uncles," I laughed. "He considers the boys his uncles."

"So boy or girl?"

"We haven't found out yet," I answered.

"What would you rather have?" I thought about her question and kind of shrugged.

"I like having a son because I can tell him guy stuff and teach him about sports," I joked, "but I also would like to have a little princess."

"Thanks, Reilly."

"Thanks."

The camera went off and she gave me a quick hug before I went back out to re tie my skates. Sawyer wanted to skate, and Katie didn't want to risk falling.

{Katie's POV}

I sat on the bench and watched as Reilly helped Sawyer skate. A few fans lingered and stood by the glass, watching. I sighed.

I never let Reilly know, but sometimes it annoyed me how some girls were always watching Reilly or obsessed with Reilly or made dirty and inappropriate posters for Reilly at games.

Some people seem to forget that Reilly is just a guy. Who's publicly engaged and legally married. Who has a son and another baby in the oven.

It comforted me knowing he was mine, but I still didn't like the fact that girls all over were trying to get with him. Hockey player boyfriend or not, who would?!

"Look, mommy!" Sawyer yelled. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked up. Sawyer was skating backwards and Reilly was skating in front of him.

"Good job, buddy!" I yelled back. He stumbled a bit, but Reilly steadied him. One of the girls burst out into laughs. I sighed and shook my head. Reilly glanced over at me and noticed my discomfort. He told Sawyer something and then called the girls over to the side of the ice.

{Reilly's POV}

"I'll sign anything, take pictures, whatever," I told the teenage girls. "I hate to sound rude but after that, you gotta leave. This is family time."

I took a lot of pictures and signed a lot of their stuff before they thanked me and left. I skated over to Katie on the bench. She stood up and leaned on it.

"You didn't have to do that," she told me.

"No. I didn't. But I did because I wanna spend some time with you and Sawyer," I replied. Katie grinned and leaned up to kiss me.

"Daddy!! Stop!! You'll get cooties!" Sawyer cried. I pulled away and laughed at the worried expression on his face.

I love being a dad.
