True Love Bites (Ayato X Yui) [Completed]

Chapter 9: Nightmare

*Third Person P.O.V.*

After Laito took Yui back to Ayato, he explained the situation. He heard what father said about killing the baby before birth, that's why he returned. Well that's what they believed at least...

"I was afraid a-ayato" Yui trembled. Ayato bunched his hands in fists of anger. His blood boiling from rage and it was frightening.

"I will protect you and our baby." Ayato said calmly, trying not to frighten Yui. He wasn't going to let anyone hurt them, Yui was his life. Yui calmed Ayato down as best she could then he hugged her from behind and rubbed her baby bump. Then they climbed into bed and fell asleep with each other in their arms.

Yui tossed, turned, trembled, cried and then woke up screaming with tears in her eyes. Ayato said with worry in his eyes, "Are y-you okay?!?" She jumped on him with fright in her eyes and hugged him tight.

"I-I thought.. y-you were dead.." she cried out loudly, struggling to keep her words together. He wrapped his arms around her, "I am here, I am okay. What did you dream about?" said Ayato calmly.

"I thought h-he killed you..." mumbled Yui, "I thought your father killed y-you and the others.." She cried out into his chest. "I thought he killed our baby" she cried louder. He felt uneasy with the words that came out of her mouth. He wanted to calm her but he couldn't shake the distraught feeling he had. "I'll handle this pancake, I'm not going anywhere."

After she calmed down, he went down to the kitchen and made her breakfast. He made grilled fish, miso soup and steamed rice. She gobbled all of it down in 10 minutes, "Thank you Ayato, it was delicious." He gave her a kiss on her forehead.

She went down to the kitchen to wash her dishes, "Hello again young lady" Her eyes opened wide...

Then everything went black.
