Chapter Eighteen: Truth

*Ayato's P.O.V.*

I didn't remember anything that happened that night. All I remember ordering a drink and then I blacked out. The next thing I knew I was waking up in a bed and a woman was laying next to me. I had pants on but my shirt was unbuttoned so I assumed what happened. I mean it's unlikely to actually just go to sleep next to a random person, right??

Well anyways I feel extremely bad. I need to explain to Yui what happened but how can I do that when I don't even know what happened?

I ended up thinking about Subaru hugging Yui and then I got mad. I knew I didn't have a right to get jealous. Not after what I did at least.

I'm going to sleep and think it off. I was walking to my room when I heard, "You did an amazing job. You have well earned your reward Beatrice. You have fooled them very well."

I decided it was none of my business so I started walking away. Then a girl came out of the room. It was the woman I woke up next to. Why was she here?

Then Subaru walked out. "Bye Beatr-" he cut himself off when he saw me. He looked shocked and like he was trying to hide something.

*Subaru's P.O.V.*

"Bye Beatr-" I said but was caught off guard by seeing Ayato. Oh shit! Is he suspicious? Does he know I tried to frame him? I thought to myself. "H-Hey Ayato" I chuckled nervously.

"Is something wrong?" I asked. He glared me in the eye.

"What are you up to Subaru?" He yelled furiously.

Shit he knows! I have to make sure Yui doesn't find out. I'll lose her forever. I said to myself in my head.

"Fine. I'll tell you." I said hesitantly.

"I saw you go to the bar and you ordered a drink. Then you got up so I put a sleeping pill in your drink. I hired Beatrice to lay in bed with you so when you woke you would think you did something horrible." I said shutting my eyes tightly waiting to take the hit, it never came.

I opened my eyes to see him looking angrily at me. It frightened me a bit.

"You're going to tell Yui! Or I will!" He yelled.

I sighed and then he took me to Yui's room. We stopped at the door. We both heard Yui crying her heart out.

"I'm sorry Ayato.." I apologized, "I didn't want you to have Yui. I have loved her from the moment she stepped foot into this house."

He seemed to understand but he was still angry. "I understand but you're still going to tell her." He said firmly.

I knocked on the door, "Yui, can I talk to you"

"Come in." I heard her say.

I then went into the room and explained everything to her. I even told her about loving her...
