Chapter 19

"What the fuck was that!" I shouted. The twins had confused yet horrified looks on their faces. They threw their underwear back in and shot towards the front door. I jumped up and wrapped myself in the blanket, following after them. 

"My fucking car!"The twins screamed. Both of them stood on the porch looking out into the driveway at their used to be car. There was smoke and fire everywhere. I ran in the house and called 911. They had the police and fire department on the way. I ran back outside to find the twins furious. "He did this!" They growled inhumanly they had completely shifted their eyes were that dark angry blue and their fangs were fully extended. I jumped back away from them. They look completely different when they are in that form and they aren't angry. I was almost tempted to run from them. They saw the look on my face and turned back into themselves. 

"Baby, we didn't mean to scare you." Jeremiah said. I relaxed instantly seeing those sweet faces. I walked over and wrapped my arms around the two of them. 

"Jesse is trying to kill me!" I cried. "I haven't even moved in yet and he already knows where I am!" The twins held me and trying to calm me down. We could hear the sirens ripping through the night.

"Come on baby."Jeremiah said picking me up. "Lets get you inside." I complied, wanting to be in the warmth of his arms, but I gave Aiden a worried look. I didn't want him out here by himself.

"Sen, I'm a vampire." He smiled reminding me. "I can take care of myself and you. Hell I can take care of Jeremiah too if I have to." He pecked my lips and told Jeremiah to take me inside.

"I love you." I said before I got in the house. I wanted both of them to hear me say it. I felt like it would be the last time or something. 

"Stop thinking like that!" The twins said getting onto me. I frowned at them but ended the thought. Jeremiah took me back to my room. He laid me gently on the bed and I snuggled up to his body. I took a deep breath and relaxed against his chest. 

"What are we going to do Jeremiah?" I asked looking at the wall. 

"You're not going to do anything." He stated. "Aiden and I will handle this." I felt his body start to shake. His arms tightened around me protectively.

"Are you going to kill him?" I whispered. From what they had told me, their kind would do anything to protect their mate. Even if that means taking a life. Their mate is the most important thing in their life, they're not going to just let someone hurt them. 

Jeremiah didn't say anything. I turned to face him, his face was serious yet expressionless. He wouldn't look me in my eyes. I touched his cheek and he looked into my eyes. "Answer me." I said in a pleading whisper.

"I cant give you an answer Sen." He said. "If he doesn't back down then we wont have any other choice." I looked away from him, not wanting to picture either of them killing someone, even if it is someone as unimportant as Jesse. He grabbed my chin, turning me back to face him. "We cant let him hurt you Sen. We didn't wait twenty-one years to find our mate, only to let some freak take her from us. You are ours." I nodded to him. I don't know what to say, I mean I hate Jesse but I don't want him to die.
