Chapter 5: United packs

Mark's p.o.v ( two days before chapter 3)

After the decontamination we all met up at my house. Yes, my house is separate from my office. Heck, it's separate from the city! My house is about 200 miles from the city. I live on shared land between the loyalty pack and Intelligence pack.

The reason were still here is because the doctors, scientists, bioenginerests, and forensic professionals all had to have there teams decontaminated as well.

"Okay so I have everything planned out. Half of us are heading to alpha Sage's pack, the other half is going to Alpha Kaden's pack. I have reason to believe Alpha's, Luna's, and there children are immune.

I had special plates put on the cars that will let the guards know we are allowed in. Right now we have our best warriors, the beta, and some chosen people being decontaminated. They will join you later. Until then you may leave."

I tell them as I lead them to the cars. I open up a bug metal door and turn on the lights. In front of us is a huge bunker with over 100 different types of cars.

"The half going to the Power pack I want you guys to take SUVs. The half going to fear pack I want you all to take the GMC trucks. Keys are in the driver seat."

I tell them and they all run off to their truck or car. I put in the code to open up the door and they all drive out.

"Mark what are we going to do? People in the pack are finding out and the word is spreading. I heard alpha Griffen put his pack under lock down."

My beta, Daniel, said as he ran up to me. I looked towards him and behind him was the group of warriors and chosen people. Daniel has brown hair and brown eyes. His light stubble lines his jawline and he's mateless.

'I truthfully don't know what to do. I'm overwhelmed and this was so sudden.'

I tell him through our mind link. He is my best friend so I can trust him. There is a strange smell in the air but I brush it off as rats. But there is also a since of power, a power I've never felt before.

'We will need to calm down. Take a deep breath, and think.'

He says and I follow his instructions. Slowly my mind begins to clear and I can think.

'What's the first thing you do when you come to something like this?'

'I find out how it spreads so we may be able to prevent further illness.'

'Good. What next?'

'Next I find out what causes it.'

'Awesome. Then what?'

'Then I find its symptoms.'

'Focus on just those for now."

He guides me through our mind link. We cut the link and I smile at him. He's a great beta.

"Okay people! We are all staying at alpha Mark's mansion until further notice. So March back up the stairs and take 1 left, 2 rights, and another left. Go through that door and you'll arrive in the kitchen."

Daniel yells and everyone walks away. Well everyone except three people.

"I am your squadron leader!"

I hear a male's voice shout. It had power coming off it but it also sounded like it could own a soft touch.

"Captain this is outrageous!"

I hear a female yell back and I turn to see a man with greying hair in a blue uniform and a shorter women with brown hair in a lab coat.

"Who are you two?"

I ask the two arguing and they both bow there heads to me.

"Alpha I am Wyatt Chandler and this is Doctor Thea Scott."

The man with greying hair tells me and I nod.

"You called him captain, why is that?"

I ask Thea and and sighs.

"Because he is the captain of a ship. I was a doctor on bored and we docked here for supplies. But we might not be leaving for a while."

Thea says and I nod.

"Alpha Mark."

I tell them as I shake there hands.

"Why does your wolf radiate power? If it's okay for me to ask?"

I ask Wyatt and he smiles.

"I am an alpha from a distant land and Thea is my beta female. My beta, Tex, as we call him, is back home dealing with stuff."

He tells me and my curiosity grows. A young man with brown hair and brown eyes runs up to Wyatt.

"Dad we- oh hey."

The man says and we shake hands. The man has on a green shirt and a tanish cargo pants. He has a gun strapped to his back and two pistols at his side. He wares a bullet proof vest with lots of full pockets. I don't know weather to be threatened or impressed.

"Alpha mark of the Allied packs."

I tell him and he smiles.

"Future alpha James of the United Packs."

He says and I grin. Daniel looks at me weird as I start laughing.

"Dude are you mentally well?"

Daniel asks as I slowly calm down.

"The United packs are completely across the realm. It's a wonder this group made it here."

I tell him and he nods.

"So tell me alpha Wyatt, why have you traveled so far?"

I ask him and he smiles.

"I'm on a search. A search for my daughter."
