The next morning I woke up and Raegan was already gone probably for classes. Thankfully my only class was at 12:00. Looking over at the clock my eyes bulged when I read the time, 11:43.
It was like a nightmare after that. Running into my closest I grabbed a white and gold t-shirt and a tan pencil skirt while pulling on some sandals. Brushing my hair I put it up in a high ponytail before grabbing my bag and running to my first class. Thankfully our dormitory was really close to the Main building but sadly for Raegan the softball fields are on the opposite side of the campus.
Let's just say I got to class just on time.

After class .i got a quick call from Raegan saying that she wouldn't be back to the dorms for a bit because something came up. Also something about how this pervert was following her around campus being desperate. Going ahead and walking back to the dorm my phone started to ring in my pocket. Taking it out I quickly read the bold words DAD at the top.
I think I knew what this was about.
I slid my finger across the bottom and put the phone against my ear.
"Hello?"
"Cassidy Veronica Riloman why is your name mentioned as a witness in a robbery?! I strictly told you to stay out of trouble when you went to Oxton." He scolded me with what I call 'his tone'.
Sighing I let him rant on about how this won't look could. Even though I was just a witness it's not my fault that I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. When will he learn that he isn't in charge of me anymore?
"---You got that Cassidy." He finished.
"Yes Dad." I said under my breath going up the stairs to my dorm. Passing a girl with bright yellow hair she got my attention for a second.
"Goodbye." And without a second word he ended the call leaving me in a bliss of what was happening. Opening the door I went over to my side of the room and started to do my homework.
It wasn't till about 20 minutes later when my phone started to ring again. Sliding my finger across the bottom it was Raegan. Wonder what she needs right now.
"Hello?"
"Hey so I need you to open the door right now I'm running in the building as we speak." She said panting the sound of another voice in the background made them self clear.
Walking over to the door I unlocked it and had it wide open me leaning against the door frame. "Is there a reason I am doing this?"
Suddenly Raegan came up the stairs and was running straight towards me. At first I was surprised until a boy came running up the stairs after her.
I think his name was Kasen.
Oh I have an idea.
Walking out I closed the door behind me wearing a famous smirk. Standing in her way Raegan looked at my with confusion. "Open the door! Hurry before Kasen catches up!"
But it was to late.
"Raegan where are you going?"
She rolled her eyes.
"Well you see I have plans later tonight with Cassie--"
"Oh sorry Raegan I have to cancel. So that means you can go with...Kasen right?" He nodded as I finished the sentence for her. With a glare in my direction I knew what would happen when she got home tonight.
"Come on Raegan how about we go to a movie? Or to my dorm." He said wiggling his eyebrows.
Muhahhhahahahahahahahahahahhahahahaha.
Sorry Raegan but someone around here has to play Cupid and if no one else will step up I will. Walking away Kasen tried to wrap his arm around her shoulders but she swatted his arm away.
Walking back in the dorm suddenly my phone started ringing again.
Jaxon.
So last night when Raegan came back I texted Jaxon. Among that chat I indeed found out that while I was 5.5 he was 6.4. Meaning he was almost a whole foot taller than me.
"Hello?"
"Hey It's Jaxon."
I paused and put a smile on....then remembered he couldn't see me.
"Hey how are you?" I asked sitting down on my bedside tapping my finger against the bed cover.
"Just driving around town. Maybe do you want to hang out today? I mean Oxton is just around the corner from where I am."
Go out to town.
With a boy.
That's something I was never allowed to do even if Sara or Lily were around. My parents didn't trust teenage boys and so they didn't trust me.
Being honest I'm 19 and a college freshman and I haven't had my first kiss yet.
"I mean if it's okay with you. Ugh you wouldn't have called me if it wasn't okay with you. Sure! Just call me when you are near." I said with a shaky voice as I stood up wrapping my purse over my shoulder.
"Okay I'll be there soon."
I was still in my gold and white t-short and tan pencil skirt with sandals. Except for today during class the girl behind my French braided my hair and I had time to put eyeliner on before Jaxon got here.
Walking out to the parking lot Jaxon waved while he sat against his truck.
"It's nice to see you Cassidy."
"You can call me Cass."
He raised an eyebrow.
"Cute. So where do you want to go?"
I smiled.
"Maybe for dinner? I haven't eaten at all today and trust me that's not good." I joked as he let out a large grin.
"Cool there is this diner on the West side of town to have to try."
Dressed in a white t-shirt his muscles bulged under it while he wore a light tinged pair of jeans cuffed into his boots.
"Okay that sounds really cool."
And with that we were off.
