Its no wonder Calypso left you. Those words were constantly running through his head as he ran. The wind blowing in his face, his legs sprinting and going somewhere Leo didn't even know. His tears were already spilling down his cheeks and dripping off his jaw. He noticed the glances and stares but it only made himself run quicker.

He reached the woods, dodging twigs and roots so he wouldn't trip. It looked like you could hardly stand up, Percy repeated in his head. He's handled tons of fights himself, so what did Percy know? Who needed that gorgeous, most sweet boy he ever met anyways? Leo groaned as everything flooded back to him. The hugs that always made his stomach twist and heart flutter. The smallest of kisses that made a swarm of butterflies in his stomach and the sweetest words like honey that were told to him that made his face redder than the strawberry fields.

All of the moments, they had flashed through Leo's mind like a movie. He stopped and cried harder. Percy would've whispered in his ear that it was going to be alright, that he was there to keep him safe. He would've wrapped his arms around Leo's scrawny waist and left the cutest kisses on his cheeks where the tears stained. Leo just sobbed and fell to the ground on his knees, shaking. Percy wasn't there to do any of that. Percy was gone because Leo was scared. He stood up again, taking in his surroundings and realized finally where he was. Bunker 9 wasn't too far from where he was at all.

It was at least passed midnight. Leo had woken up from a dark nightmare and he was shaking in Percy's arms. Tears were running down his cheeks and he sobbed, quickly turning to look at Percy. He pressed his ear against the sleeping son of Poseidon's chest, listening to that wonderful heart beat. Leo then felt a hand run through the back of his head in his curls. He looked up at Percy, who pressed a kiss to his forehead. "I'm here...I'm with you." He whispered before Leo had drifted back off to sleep, a small smile on his lips.

Leo sniffed and wrapped his arms around himself instead. His skin was still tingly from where Percy had last held him. Every thought of his boyriend (or was it ex now?) had him tear up all over again. Leo took small steps towards the bunker, the twigs and dead leaves crunching under his sneakers. What was he going to do? The twins would find him if he hid or left. If he made the weapons everything would be gone. If they asked him and threatened Leo again, he would practically be on his own.

But this was Leo's problem. He couldn't let his home and the people he cared about be gone because of his stupid emotional issues. Percy was going to have to wait. Besides, his tongue was probably halfway down Annabeth's throat anyways. He wouldn't do that to me, a thought from the back of his head told him. But what if it was true? What if Percy didn't even need Leo? He had Annabeth and so many other people going after him...

Leo was interrupted from his thoughts when his head butted the door. He jumped slightly from the sudden hit but sighed. He opened the door and stepped in, closing it behind him. The lights turned on and revealed the quiet, empty bunker. Festus was curled up on his left, which took up half of his main room. He smiled slightly and put his hand on the bronze dragons nose before sitting at his work table.

Alright...emotional issues later, real world problems now. He took a deep breathe, closing his eyes. His fingers tapped against the wood and he listened to the quiet hum of his machines. Leo tried to think but all that was running through his head was a certain sea-green eyed boy. He huffed and pouted, flicking his forehead. "Stop. Focus, Valdez." Leo grumbled to himself and tapped his foot. Guns...He couldn't give them real ones, of course. But he needed to make it not-so-obvious that they would be fake.

Leo doodled his ideas for a couple of hours. He missed meals, snacking on some Pringles he had in stock instead. He spun in his chair a few times as well before realizing it was already sun set. Leo yawned, stretching and got up, going to the small bedroom he had. He laid down and stared at the ceiling. He hadn't slept alone in bed like this in a while. He always had...stop, Leo. You're torturing yourself.

But it was true. He always had Percy cuddling next to him or it was the other way around. The bed felt...empty and cold. Like a dark cave. Leo bit his lip, which had started to tremble at the thoughts. His eyes started to sting all over again and he shook his head millions of times. "No, no, no." He mumbled but it sounded more like a whimper. The memories, kisses, hugs, arms, words.

Percy and him were having a lazy Sunday. They were currently in the Bunker, tangled in eachothers limbs. Leo was admiring Percy's hair, "Your hair is so soft and nice..." Leo whispered. Percy responded with a small chuckle, "Oh no. Is my own hair going to steal my boyfriend?" Leo let out a giggle, "No, ya silly goose. Your hair is straight." He said and Percy let out a laugh. Leo grinned, happy to make his lover happy. "And yours is super curly. So it's as straight as you." Now it was Leo's turn to laugh, "This is so gay." Percy shrugged and kissed Leo's cheek, "I don't mind." "Me neither."

Leo covered his face and kept shaking his head. "Please, stop." He cried. The memories were playing in his head again. Leo sobbed and was so desperate to have Percy back. He cried some more, rolling onto his side when the tears seemed to have stopped. He sniffed and tried one last thing, "P-Percy..." he called out in a whisper. No arms had wrapped around his waist. No whisper was heard in his ear. Leo frowned deeply before drifting off into sleep.
