My back rested against the sea stone bars since I was trying to steal the keys from a solider but fell asleep as soon as my skin hit the stone. I hadn't really slept much for the past four days. Even before my ass got caught. I opened my eyes as my body still felt weak with my cheek stuck to the dirty sea stone bars. I peeled my cheek and had my body fall the other way hitting the ship floor boards. My body was so fucking weak I felt like I had been asleep for years. My dream was nice. I was having Thatch's famous dinner, drinking with Izo, having a delightful conversation with Pops, and staring at the stars with Marco. Even in my dreams I was there. I did feel better. The sleep helped a lot. I sighed and wondered how long I had been sleeping or if they fucked with me. I lifted up my sweatshirt to see my wound healing up fine but I hadn't seen the sea stone bracelet that was digging into my wrist. Shit. Also my father's shoes I was wearing were missing. I fucking knew it, they took all of the things my family gave me before they left. I looked at my bars and saw a plate with food on it that smelled like actually delightful food. I was starving and didn't want them to drug me or something. I groaned and moved the fork around the food to see if there was any big signs of poison. Then a solider stepped in front of the stairway. His eyes were hidden by his baseball cap and the keys dangled on his belt. He looked over me as he bent down and reached through the bars. He tightly gripped my chin and forced me to look at him. He wasn't anything to look at but I needed to play this solider to let me out.
"Since you caught me and I'll probably be publicly executed, so why don't we have some fun." The soldiers eyes looked surprised but took the offer anyway. He opened the cell and walked in without locking it. He started to unzip his pants. I knock him into the bars and he slides down for me to knee him in the face. I snuck the keys and found that he didn't have the key for the sea stone bracelet. I looked at the base of the stone and saw that it had a sharp edge that was digging into me, I felt the pressure of it. I had to figure out how to get it off, but not here. I have to leave the ship before I do that. I broke open the port window and push my body out and landed on the sand. I ran like hell to the forest to keep as much distance from them as I could. I breathed super hard and tried to resist the burning sensation in my lungs. I was totally fucked. They'll look for me. I moved behind a tree and relaxed my back on the rough bark. I need to think clear now. I took a look behind me to see what I had ran into. It was just nothing but forest which calmed my heart a bit. I began walking cautiously and took every noise as a threat. I made it to a river with crystal clear water that actually got me to fall to my knees and stuck my head in fully. It was god damn refreshing. I ripped my head out of the water feeling my wet hair hit the back of my neck. I sat and curled myself into a ball and rested my head on my knees. I felt light headed and I knew it was cause I didn't eat. Lucky for me though a fish swam by and quickly charged and gripped the slimy animal in my hand. Then it wiggled out of my hand and swam away back in the river. I should have expected that it wouldn't be that easy. Then I heard crashing in the distance that I had just came from. I pulled myself up and began halling ass and reached the shore. I started to freak out. It was definitely The Hero. I turned around and looked at the fucking huge marine chasing me down. As he got in distance of me his fist was cocked and he smashed my cheek and nearly broke my jaw. I flew from the backlash and skid across the sand definitely having burns. I couldn't believe I was evening standing after that but I knew if I could get a punch in I would have a chance but in my state. I'm betting on a star here. I darted at him and jump at his feet bringing my fist blindly. He grabbed my arm and threw me to the ground. I got up again and was breathing heavily. It was hard to even get a gasp before he clocked me in the stomach. Blood squirted out of my throat and out on the sand. I crashed into the grass near the shore. I began gasping for air and I could feel the blood roll down the corner of my lip and down my chin. The sun shined in my eyes creating me to close them quickly and I picked my tired body up and smiled with tears forcefully coming out of the corners of my eyes. They were streaming down my cheeks and coating my chapped lips.
"Pops..." My voice came out as a whisper but in my head I was staring at the giant man as he smiled knowing I was getting fucking wrecked.
"What happened to that fiery soul I first met." He began to laugh loudly in my head like he'd do in real life.
"Now get up and come home." He said before I peered at the sun hearing the marine come closer to me. I cracked a smile and sighed having the dark haired man cock his head at me. I thrusted my foot to his abdomen and knock him back. I jumped to my feet and smashed my heel in the middle off his chest. He coughed and grabbed my foot throwing me again to the side. I got on my feet and stared at him as we both waited for one of us to make a move. He moved like lightning. A flash there and then gone. First in front of me then behind in one second. I took a deep breath and braced myself. As the marine tried to strike me with his powerful fists I tightly gripped his wrist and flipped his ass over my body. I put my fist up as he kicked back up on his feet. I stayed back and kept my distance.
"Why do you resist what is meant to be your fate." His expression scrunched up as his next form of attack was plotting in his brain. I struggle to catch my breath, my lungs burn in that familiar way like I just ran a marathon.
"You don't decide my fate. I do!" I grip the sea stone bracelet that has been digging in my skin this entire time. With all my strength I start to pull the sharp end out of my body. Screaming as it isn't easily coming out, I start to twist and bend the stone to break it. The pressure gave in and the sea stone bracelet crumbled to the ground. I smiled and looked at the middle aged man that was shocked but not bothered by my strength. I ripped the mid section  of my shirt and wrapped my wrist to stop the bleeding. It was now a stare down the man knows he's got a job to do but liked the hot blooded fire of my youth.
"I can only wonder what your parents would say. You know they'd be proud." His face was softer than before like he was looking back on fond memories.
"Your mother and father were marines before they were pirates. They were good souls brought down by corporation." He must have looked out for them in his prime. I knew this man was not gonna let me go without a fight but I just gotta make it look good. I dig my feet in the sand and crouch pulling my arms close to my side. The wind spinning around my arms as the build up to my power surge will knock his as back a century. I held onto the powerful gust of wind as long as I could and let the forceful shockwaves in his direction  flying his ass to the middle of the ocean. That wouldn't be the last I see of him. I'm happy to find that the marines had left to go find their captain. At the shore line I could see a boat resting on the sand nobody was around to account for it. I walked closer to see my items that had been taken from me. Then I hear a match scratch across the rough paper to light the cigarette hanging loosely from his lips. The large puff of smoke had me locate the dark figure in the shade.
"You sure do make a lot of noise, Siren?" The laughter echoed within the air as the figure stood to walk closer to the open light.
