The work is finally over. For today that is. The squad and i were on our way to the elevator. Why squad you say? Well it was Shinoa who came up with it and said 'since we're always together, why not call it squad? You guys have no objection? Time is up. Then the squad it is!' She grinned from ear to ear. Not any of us have a problem with it.
"So Yuu-san. Usual place to hang out after work?" She asked and i nodded. "Like we have don't have other places to go." Kimizuki rolled his eyes and Yoichi chuckled. "It's not like we're popular that we have to change places to hang out anyway." Mitsuba said.
"Speaking of popular. Have you heard Shindou got confessed by another female employee?" Yoichi held his chin with his thumb and index finger. I flinched a bit and covered it quickly but it didn't miss Shinoa from seeing it.
"Oh no! What ever shall we do Yuu-san?" Shinoa clutch my suit with concern. Well she's faking it. "Like hell would i care. He can date whoever he wants." I grumbled and walked faster until we finally reached the elevator. Shinoa still won't stop her teasing about me having a crush on him. Sure he's hot as fuck but he will never notice someone like me even though we work at the same company.
We entered the elevator and pushed the close button. The door closed but it opened again. I raised my eyebrow and pushed the button and the door close for a moment and it opened wide again. "What are you playing at?" Kimizuki asked. "Shut up telephone pole. The door just opened by itself" i retort back and push the button harder this time.
The door almost close until someone held the door with their hand. "Mind be patience for a while? I was trying to get myself in." A guy said. I gapped and stepped back a little as the man stepped inside the elevator. It was Mikaela. Holy shit calm down Yuu. Don't make yourself look like an idiot.
"I thought the door was having technical difficulties. I'm sorry." I said and he nodded. I pushed the close button and the door close. My friends were staring knowingly at me. Especially Shinoa who was smirking.
The door opened again when we reached the lower floor and people began to enter. I moved back a bit to give some space but only to be pressed my back against Mikaela's chest. I blushed while looking down at my feet.
Kimizuki whisled and my friends giggled. Fuck them. Mikaela's chest is warm. I could hear his heart beat. I gulped and take bold step as i pressed myself fully on his chest. I could smell his cologne and i took a whiff of it.
The bell ding as it reached the lower floor and people began to decrease until it became just us again including Mikaela. As much as i hate it i moved away from him a bit. As the elevator reached the fifth floor, a man stepped in.
"Hello Mika. Haven't seen you in a while!" He chirped. "We met several hours ago Ferid." Mikaela's groaned. Ferid hummed his eyes rolled at me. He opened his mouth and closed it back then grinned.
"What do we have here? It's the lovable Yuu-chan-" "Shut it Ferid" Mikaela cut him off. Shinoa seems to be very amuse of what she just heard. "Did you just call him Yuu-chan?" Mitsuba asked disbelieve. "I never thought Yuu-san is famous" she snickered and i glared danggers at her. "Oh why yes he is. Especially to certain someone in here." Ferid glanced over at Mikaela who was furious. Ding! The elevator reached the ground floor and Mikaela was the first one to get out.
"Hey. What you said back then. Was it true?" Yoichi asked the guy named Ferid and he grinned. "Indeed. Whenever he sees this Yuu-chan. He became all chirpy and talked about it to Krul." He said and i gapped disbelieve. Does that mean he likes me? "Krul? You mean the head director of this company?!" Mitsuba shouted. "Precisely. And Mika is her son. Who has a crush on his princess Yuu-chan" Ferid tapped my back and i blushed. "Oh my. Now what are you waiting for Yuu-san? Your long awaited prince likes you back. Go get his ass." She said and i nodded.
I ran outside of the entrance of the company to search for Mikaela. My eyes searched for the tall blond and it was not hard to find him since he's really stands out. I ran towards him and grabbed his hand which caught him off guard. "Uhh..h-hey." Nice first move on your crush yuu. So not cool. Mikaela blinked by the sudden action. "Hi.." he replied and we just stood there in the middle of the side walk where people started to get annoyed because we blocked their path. He gripped my hand and smiled. "Coffee?" He asked and i smiled. "Coke will do." I said and we walked towards the nearest place that sell coke.
