I headed outside to the bus, admiring the clean spring air, and halfway down the stone path, I was cut off by a black sludge thing that kind of looked like the Pokemon Muk, but with sunglasses.
"Oh, thank Celestia! Dusty! Help me! I ticked Zecora off and now-"
"You think I care? Ha! Idiot."I declined as I walked away and added, "And get off my lawn, too!"
I got on the bus and sat next to Andy Marks, my friend from first grade. We started talking about how nice it was outside, then he brought up something Megan Startey said to Clair Topaz, Andy's crush, so we started talking about that and how embarrassing it must have been for Clair AND Andy. Then we just stopped talking all together. It was times like that that made me miss Nathan Rivers. Nathan was on our bus for years, but since he was a grade ahead of us, we never got to see him when he changed from lower-grade school to higher-grade school, in this case, sixth grade to seventh grade. Andrew and I were in sixth grade at that time, so we went to "intermediate" school when he was in middle school.
Don't ask me why we have kindergarten through second grade in one school, third and fourth in the next, fifth and sixth in the next, and then a middle school and a high school ATTACHED with seventh and eighth in middle school and ninth through twelfth in high school. Our school system is messed up, and there are rumors saying that our town is going to take fifth grade, put it in the other school with the third and fourth graders, and put the sixth graders in the middle school, but I didn't know if I schould believe them or not.
When we finally got to school, we followed our normal daily routines; I went to my locker, and when I got there,Jason Peproni, my annoying locker neighbor, said "got grapes?" like he always does, then we went to language arts.
It was a pretty normal, boring school day, and when it finally ended, I stepped on the bus to go home bored out of my mind. Cher Jennings, my BFFLFEUTEOTAB, and my crush from the play, Jay Maxwell, were on the same bus as me in the afternoon sometimes, as well as this time. The black sludge monster slunk onto the bus, inky black as ever.
"Come on, Dusty! help me out here!!!" he commanded.
"Uh.... wait, Discord? Oh sure I'll help... sorry for not helping earlier, but I had no idea who you were and I was still tired." I agreed
So I took an empty perfume bottle from one of the prissy girls, and I shoved Discord into it. I have no idea how he fit. I opened up the cabinet to the engine, and squirted Discord onto it. There was a little crack on the engine where the sludge went through, but Discord evaporated out of it and floated up into the air.
"Would you mind opening the portal to Equestria, Dusty? My powers are gone until I.." he paused, then added in a disgusted tone, "apologize... to Zecora for stealing one of her recipes. All you have to do is show me a picture of a small area in Equestria."
"Oh, that's easy." I went on my phone and showed him a picture of Equestria. He got sucked into it, and I looked at the picture that now had him in it. He waved at me, and put his thumb-claw up at me, a way of saying thanks, I guess.
"Wow, Dusty, good job! You sent an evil...animal thing into his home world again! Cool!" Cher commented.
"Dusty, one thing....CALM DOWN!!!" Jay yelled. I recoiled back; I had sensitive ears.
"Shut up, Jay!" I retaliated.
"Yeah, Shut up, Jay, hahahah!" Cher joked.
...Then the bus driver got back from the school restroom and we all went home.
