When I first read this prompt, I was incredibly confused. After all, when one think of current music, there isn't much in the way of songs about the supernatural. After a few Google searches, however, my memory was jogged and thankfully, I'm no longer completely lost!
My favorite zombie-related piece of music is "Thriller" by Michael Jackson. I chose this song for several reasons. First off, it holds nostalgic value because I first heard it when I was quite young and have only good memories and associations with it. Second, I actually enjoy it as a song itself, even though it is dissimilar to my usual tastes in music. Third, it is incredibly iconic in the way of pop culture, and I enjoy being able to connect with nearly everyone over our mutual appreciation for the song. Then, of course, there's the incredibly famous dance move that practically any child can perform by the time they're ten.
While I might not be an unconditional fan of Michael Jackson music, I surely enjoy this song for the rhythm, melody, and beat. It is definitely my favorite zombie-related piece of music!
