"Alierah! Hurry up! We must be there before the sun sets!" Tawag saakin ni auntie. Ano ba naman yan. Inaantok pa ako eh. They made me skip school today and I felt really exhausted 😩.
Napabalikwas ako ng bangon at dumiretso na sa cr. I did all I have to do and nagbihis na. I didn't feel like dressing up so naka plain black crop top ako at black shorts, black varsity socks at black tennis shoes. Nilugay ko lang ang black na black na wavy hair ko.
Bumaba ako and just to find them wearing formal attire.
"What the heck?!" Nabigla ako, no one informed me na kailangan palang naka formal.
"What are you wearing Ally? We're meeting the council. Go! Change into something presentable!" Utos ni aunt Aurora.
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know." I said sarcastically. What council are we meeting anyway? Seriously, this vampire shit is confusing.
I just took the first dress I saw and wear a black heeled shoes.
Nagpowder at naglagay ng liptint and some gloss then bumaba na agad.
Seriously sana sinabihan man lang nila ako. Agad naman kaming umalis at mahaba-haba pa ang aming byahe.
Nababagot na ako sa tagal ng byahe namin, pero hindi pa kami nangalahati sa layo. Bakit kasi ang layo ng Halgrove sa Area Eleven, which btw where we live.
I plugged in my earphones and started listening to my favorite songs, and now its playing Spring Day by BTS. I'm so immersed by the music and finally shot off the outside world. Enjoying the music and the voices of the singers. It's so beautiful.
I get a little bored and so I stared at the view from the window and realized that it's already near sunset. We've been on the road for more than 7 hours now. Wow, this place sure is far. I like what I see so I opened the window and started feeling the nature, the wind, and it's refreshing.I like it here.. It's so well preserved. The nature hasn't been destroyed nor damaged and I can still feel and smell the fresh air. It doesn't have much buildings.. And I only saw a few subdivisions when we passed by. It's so beautiful compared to Area Eleven which is now kind of over populated. No fresh air, there's only a few woods left, and it's kind of polluted. It's like a trash compared to this beauty.
We slowly approached a road which was surrounded by woods. I heard howling but I didn't bother, maybe it's from a wolf or something.. Not long until we reached an arch which says "Phantom Academy" then the atmosphere of this place becomes a bit chilly. We parked our car on the carpark near the entrance arch.
"Ally please be on your best behavior? And pay attention to your surroundings, we're not like these people." Said Auntie. "Well, your not like them yet." She whispered something but I can't understand with my earphones on.
"Finally we're here." Said uncle and did some stretching. They fixed themselves to look more presentable.
Auntie bend over to have a full view of me. She pulled out a hair brush from her purse and comb my hair, she even sprayed some perfume as if it'll hide my scent.
"Whatever." I said and apply a thin coat of lipgloss.
As we entered the place, I felt a pair of eyes staring intently at me but I didn't see anyone nor anything. Creepy.
"Woah. This school is huge!" I mumbled silently awing the beauty of this school. After the entrance arch, leads a huge beautiful bridge which is made of gold and clear crystal materials. I can see the full view of the water underneath me from the floor. People with fear of heights and water can't pass through here, they might have heart attack.
I heard auntie and uncle studying the architecture of the bridge and praising the architect and the engineer who made it. Uncle studied architecture but unfortunately he became a businessman rather than being an architect.
It's sparkling even though the sun is about to set. You can even have a full view of the sunset here. We reached the end of the bridge and was welcomed by a pale looking lady. She wears black conservative clothes and has her hair up. She's pretty but her eyes are bloody red.
"Are you Mr. and Mrs. Philip Munroe?" She asked the couple and they quickly nod their heads.
"I am Briar Rose, I am here to escort you to the Lordship's office." She said with an Irish accent. She speaks weirdly, like she came from a different era.
We followed her quietly. I roam my eyes as we entered a manor like building, to my guess, this is the school. I mean the interior is mostly made of glass so I can see the classrooms. This is so "Wonderful." Hindi ko naman namalayan at nabigkas ko ang huli.
"I'm glad you like it." Natigilan ako nang may nag salita. Hinanap ko naman ang pinagmulan nito at natulala sa kung sinong nilalang ang nag mamay ari ng maskuladong boses na yun.
"Beautiful." Wala sa sarili kong sabi.
