Minutes turns into hours. Hours turns into days. And days turns into weeks. I've been spending weeks now in this old mansion of ours yet I still can't find anything about me and my parents. I can't leave with out knowing or learning something valuable about my past, about my entire existence.
Reading every documents my dad has in his office didn't help me learn something Aside from his transactions with some various blood banks.
I walk around once more before I finally left his office. But something caught my attention. It was on the far end of a bookshelf. It's a necklace dangling from one of the books.
I walk towards it and snatch it with my hands. It has a delicate design on it. It is. Dragon circling around the rose. It looks like a crest. The rose has a blue diamond in the middle. It's so beautiful, I can't even get my eyes off it.
I was pulled back from my administration when I heard a door from below slammed shut.
"Odd. I know there's no one in here." I said to myself as I shove the necklace inside my pocket.
I quickly ran downstairs to check on it when I saw a shadow enters the basement.
Following it carefully, I went inside the basement. What I saw shocked me.
It was a freezer. A huge freezer with various blood bags. Every blood bag has labels.
Blood type AB, A, B, A-, A+, B-,B+ ,AB-, AB+, and Blood type O. Even the rare ones are here.
"What is the meaning of this?" I asked myself. Beside the freezer was a tunnel.
I carefully walk towards it and entered the tunnel. Its a narrow tunnel without end. I continue walking until I saw a door. A red wooden door with the same crest as the necklace. I opened the door and saw some piled up documents and letters. Books that I haven't heard of which looks old.
The scent of the old books and scrolls and letters smells like a ginger bread house. I begun to read the scrolls which looks like came from a different era. Every one of them were like an invitation of royal balls, meetings, and gathering of royal families.
As soon as I finished reading the scrolls, I begun reading the letters. But there was nothing there. All was invitations.
Why would they hide somethin like these in here?
I lit the candle that stand on an old candlestick holder And placed it on top of the table as I begun to read the books.
These books contains history that I did not know. History which doesn't belongs to human's.
What is this? Why do we have these things?
Dad, Mom, what are we,really?
