Supportive friends

Jonathan's Pov:

"Jonathan, where have you been?!" Growled my mother. "What do you mean?" I grumbled. "Your mother is asking where you've been for the last couple of months." My father said lashing his tail. "I told you already, I've been at Cartoonz!" I hissed. "No you haven't, Jonathan." My mother said with anger flaring in her eyes. "Pfft how would you know I wasn't there?" I scoffed. "We asked Luke's parents to see if you were there." My father said narrowing his eyes as he circled me.

I felt my heart drop. I never thought they'd actually go ask if I was there or not. Don't panick, just be calm about this..

"Ok and?" I rolled my eyes. "They said they didn't see you at all, so where were you hm?" My mother pinned her ears back. "I was there, they probably just didn't see me." I growled. "I doubt that's possible." My father hissed. "Then they probably must be blind just like you guys." I snapped.

What I said must've triggered my parents.. both of them had their ears pinned back, tails fluffed, and teeth baring.

"GET OUT YOU RUNT!" My mother screeched. "With pleasure." I growled back while dashing out feeling broken on the inside.

I ran out the front door not caring where I went. I heard a voice call out my name as I ran past them. I didn't stop running, I just had to get out of this painful and stressful life I have in this kingdom. The only place I could run to is the tree. I transformed as I ran into the woods.

"I swear.. you guys were much better before everything started crashing down." I cried.

I reached the tree. I plopped myself down on the grass. I couldn't believe what my parents were doing... they would go ask where I'm at when I clearly don't want to be home.. 

"Hey Jon." A voice said.

I lifted my head to look behind me. It was Cartoonz.

"Luke.." I whined. "I heard everything.. and I'm sorry." He flattened his ears as he sat beside me. "It's not your fault, I'm the one that shouldn't have been so stupid for lying.." I said as tears rolled down my face. "It's ok Del, I'm your friend.. I would do anything  for you." He meowed. "Your the reason why I haven't run away when my parents became these monsters." I said quietly. "I know buddy..." he said brushing his tail along my back. "What do I do now?" I whimpered. "Well you can always go live with Vanoss for a couple of days." He meowed looking at me. "I could, but I bet my parents would send a fucking search party on me.." I grumbled as I sniffled.

Cartoonz laid down beside me. He narrowed his eyes at me before speaking.

"I know your parents aren't quite keen with you, but why don't you actually come hang with Bryce, Ohm, and I.. it might make your parents calm down.." he sighed. "What about Evan?" I whined.

I saw the pained look in his eyes.

"Look Del, we know you love Vanoss.. but we miss hanging out with you.." he meowed while lashing his tail. "I guess I should give Evan some space.." I sighed. "Yeah some space, but not literally." Cartoonz shook his head. "Ok I'll let him know." I said transforming and grabbing my phone.

J: Hey Evan.

E: Hey~

J: I'm gonna hang with my friends for a couple of days if that's ok with you.

E: yeah ofc, my friends have been wondering if I have forgotten about them. XD

J: Alright see you after those couple of days~ 💙

E: ❤️

I closed my phone and stood up.

"Come on Cartoonz, let's get to Bryce's." I said and ran for his castle.

Bryce's Pov:

Ohm was following behind me as I paced around the halls.

"Babe why are you pacing around?" He asked keeping pace with me. "Im worried about Delirious.." I said flattening my ears. "Aww don't be like that Bryce, I'm sure he'll be fine.." he said reassuringly. I felt like he wasn't sure but I took his word for it. "Ok ok, I'll try to calm down." I said waving my sandy colored tail.

Ohm hugged me from behind . I could feel his breath on my neck as he placed his chin on my shoulder. 

"You know I love you, right Ryan?" (I think that's his name.. correct me if I'm wrong.) I smiled at him. He lifted his head and pecked me on the cheek. "Of course I do~" he said twitching his ears. I chuckled and nuzzled him with my forehead.

"Do you guys need a room or should we leave?" A voice asked. "Nah we'll stop." I chuckled. "Welcome back to the group Del!" Ohm grinned. "It feels nice to be back." He sighed. "Enough reunion shit, let's do something." Cartoonz purred. "Alright." I answered as I got out of Ohm's grip and lead them all to my bedroom.

-few hours later-

"God damn you Bryce!" Delirious shouted. "Haha! That's what you get for trying to go against me!" I laughed. "Stop fooling around guys, come on." Cartoonz meowed as he twitched his tail. "Hold on guys we need to wait for Delirious to spawn back." Ohm said. "Just go, it doesn't look like we got much time." Delirious chuckled. "Mm ok then.." Ohm said with a sigh. (You guys can imagine anything that they are playing... just not anything inappropriate ok?)

-few hours later-

The four of us were all hanging out on my balcony. We were just making random jokes and laughing at the most random of things.

"Dude it feels great to be enjoying nights like this again." I said as the breeze blew gently. "Yeah.. I miss these nights." Ohm smiled and intertwined his fingerswith mine. "I do miss these nights as well, I feel like a kid again.. playing around at night in the kingdoms." Delirious sighed. "Yep, I remember we'd get in trouble for being so loud." Cartoonz purred. "Oh those were the days man.." I grinned.

We had a few minutes of silence before Delirious broke the silence.

"Guys I honestly do miss you all.. after the incident with Jaiden, I just thought I'd lost connect with you guys but Cartoonz.." he sighed. "We understand Delirious, your parents are strict about things now.. we just want you to know we support you on anything and everything." Ohm said with a reassuring tone. "Thanks guys.. I really am glad we are friends." Del said hugging all of us. "Group hug!" Cartoonz shouted.

I chuckled as we hugged. Nothing could break our relationship.

"Bryce, where's your friend Jonathan?" I heard my mother ask as we released from the hug. "Right here... why?" I asked.

She looked over at Delirious.

"His parents called.." my mother sighed. "Tell them I'm not gonna go home tonight." Delirious growled. "I understand Jonathan, your parents have been through a lot and I'm sorry for you." She said angling her ears at us. "I've been through too much because of them.." he whined. "I know, your always welcome here." She said bowing to us and nodding at me before calling Delirious's parents.

We all stared at Delirious. We couldn't tell how he was feeling but we saw the warmth in his eyes.

"Yeah, like my mother said, your always welcome here!" I chuckled. "You know your always welcome in my castle~" Cartoonz purred. "Same goes here, we've been bros for a long time.. I would hate to lose you." Ohm smiled. "Aw shucks, you guys are too kind.." Delirious said with a small giggle.

None of us wants to let a friend down, especially not in this friend group. Ohm rested his chin on my shoulder. It seems some of us are slightly getting tired.

"You guys up for a sleep over?" I grinned. "You know I'm always here for that." Ohm said twitching his ears. "How about you Cartoonz?" I asked. "Mm sure, I mean there isn't much to do when your by yourself." He said with a shrug. "Cool let's start this sleep over then~."

Ahh I'm so ded on the inside.. Like because of summer my sleeping schedule is out of whack.. im like going to sleep at like 8am and waking up at 2-3 pm.. smh anywho, I'm late like always. I've said the reasons. Procrastination,laziness,wasn't in the mood,playing LoZBoW, Or hanging with friends. Meh my reasons are kind of stupid but oh well!
