Evan's Pov:

It's been a couple of months now.. my parents are still thinking about setting me up with Samantha. I obviously told them that she wasn't my type and already had a person in mind. I need to find the time to let them know I'm with Jonathan...

"Hey Vanoss, what are you doing man!?" A voice questioned. "Ahhh sorry, I had things running through my head." I apologized. "We're gonna lose to those zombies because of you." An irritated voice said. "Haha I'm sorry Terroriser." I snorted. "Let's just beat this map." Another voice said with confidence. "You said it Mini." I laughed.

We played for what seemed like an hour, but we finally beat the map with everyone cheering through the call.

"Hey guys I'm gonna go, I plan on telling my parents some things." I said while stretching in my seat. "Oh, is it about you and Delirious?" Terroriser barked. "Yes actually, I'm gonna tell them we started dating..." I said feeling slightly embarrassed. "Awwwwww, that's so cute." Mini snickered. "Go get em tiger." Terroriser said encouragingly. "Haha thanks, I will." I said and left the call. I flapped my wings and flew out of my room.

I glanced out the window and realized that I've been in my room ever since this morning, and now the sun was setting..

Alright Evan you got this... I thought to myself. I flew into the throne room where my parents stayed most of the time.

"Ahh Evan your finally out of your room~" my mother smiled at me. "S-sorry.. lost track of time.." I apologized. My mother walked up to me and hugged me. I hugged back feeling as if I were a young owlet again.

I always depended on my parents as an owlet... but now I'm independent and pretty decent at doing things.

"Well what brings you here?" My father asked. I looked at my father with nervousness. My mother had stopped hugging but had her hand on my shoulder. "Uh, well um.." my nervousness got the best of me as I couldn't bring myself to tell them. "Evan, calm down and take a deep breath." My mother's soothing voice said slowly. I closed my eyes and drew in a breath. I let it out and opened my eyes.

"I want to tell you guys that..." I hesitated to say more. "Hmm?" My mother sounded curious as to what I want to say. "Er well, as you know... I've invited Delirious over a lot and well.. I just want to tell you that um... we.. j-just sta-started dating.." I stuttered.

The room was silent. I can tell my parents were trying to process this information. I licked my dried lips nervously as I looked from each face to see their expressions.

"Evan, is that what you want?" My mother asked not looking me in the eyes. "Yes, more than anything." I answered confidently. "My boy Evan, what did Prince Jonathan do to make you fall for him?" My father got up from his throne. "Well, he's like me but different in a way..." I answered. I gazed at my father with a gulp. "Hm I see what you mean.. but if you want to be with him, you do know the consequence right?" My father said while narrowing his eyes. "I-I do.." I answered. I glanced at my mother. She had a smile on her face. "Oh Evan I'm glad you finally got yourself a soulmate." She said hugging me. "So you guys aren't mad?" I asked.

My father got closer to us. "Oh I am but, I just want to see you happy." My father sighed. My mother released me from the hug and wrapped her elegant white wing around her lover. "We're proud of you Evan, this is somewhat similar to how we got together." My mother giggled. "Shh, I don't want to re-live that memory." My father covered his face with his hands. "Hehe it's ok my love." She removed a hand and pecked him on the cheek.

I felt my heart jump with joy. "I promise to take care of the relationship and if anything bad happens, I know to blame myself." I said almost squealing. "Hehe, our little boy is growing up~" my mother chuckled. My father's gaze was filled with happiness in his eye. "Just don't do anything suspicious, cuz we'll be watching you Evan." My father said with amusement. "Oh just watch me~" I snorted.
