Cartoonz's decision

Luke's Pov:

I waited for her in the exact area. I lashed my tail irritatedly.

"Where the fuck are you?" I muttered. I sniffed the air as I waited. I sat down with my tail neatly wrapping around my paws.

"Oh? Were you waiting long?" A voice asked. The voice made the fur along my back bristle. "So you did show up.. I thought you weren't." I growled as I got up. "Of course I'd meet you in private." She smiled. "Drop the act Chloe!" I hissed. "What act?" She said in a fake innocent tone.

I felt myself boiling with rage. I transformed and glared at her.

"Stop whatever you are trying to do to Jonathan!" I shouted. "Aww your concerned for him." She giggled. "Of course I am, he's my best friend!" I snapped. "Woah, calm down Luke.." she said flattening her ears.

I flattened my ears threateningly.

"Don't you dare hurt Jonathan." I growled. "Oh and what are you gonna do to stop me?" She asked curiously. "You don't want to know." I threatened as I lashed my tail. "But you can't hurt a girl, remember that rule?" She said with a innocent tone. "Bull shit! I don't even see you as a girl!" I growled. "How rude of you." She said in a hurt tone.

I let out a frustrated hiss. I narrowed my eyes at her.

"How about this." I said with irritation. "I'll date you, so that you don't hurt Jonathan." "Oh? Does he really mean that much to you that you'd give up your chances of finding love for him?" Chloe sounded shocked. "To keep him out of trouble.. I'd do anything.." I sighed. "Wow.. I never knew you were that kind of guy.." She said while looking at me with interest. "So will you please not tell his parents if I date you." I meowed with a sigh.

She gazed at me with narrowed eyes. She walked up to me with a small smile.

"We'll see after the first date." She said and flicked her tail at me. "Fuck.. I forgot that was a thing.." I grumbled. "Has it really been that long?" She giggled. "Of course it has! I just never found my match." I growled. "If this goes well, maybe I was the one you were looking for." She smiled. "As if.." I grunted.

She smiled at me kindly. "Let's plan the date later." She said as she transformed and left.

I gazed at the moon that flashed the night sky.

"What have I gotten myself into..." I whined.

Jonathan's Pov:

"You did what?!" I screamed through the group chat on skype. "You heard me.." Cartoonz said gloomily. "Why would you do such a thing?" Bryce asked. "I don't want Delirious getting into more trouble with his parents.." he sighed. "That's really nice of you to do, but are you really gonna give up on looking for your lifetime partner just to keep Chloe from telling?" Ohm questioned. "If it's what I have to do.. then yes." He said miserably. "Cartoonz, I can handle myself.. I don't need you to worry.." I sighed. "Delirious all of us want to help you.. Cartoonz is the bravest of us to actually just go straight up to Chloe and tell her that.." Gorilla whined.

I sat back in my seat as I let out a deep sigh. I'm grateful that Luke would do something like this for me, but it shouldn't have ended this way.. not when his love life wasn't complete...

"Cartoonz..thank you.. I feel really nervous for you, but I'm also grateful." I said. "I'm your best friend.. of coursed I'd do anything for you." He chuckled. "Awwwww." Bryce,Gorilla, and Ohm awed in unison.

I felt a smile form on my face. I love Cartoonz so much. I won't ever lie to him even if it were something that could end our friendship.. he knows me like I know myself. You could say he could be my consciousness.

"I hope you and Chloe come out on actual good terms... I don't want you to get in trouble as well." I said with a nervous chuckle. "Don't worry about me, I can take care of myself." He said with a chuckle. "I don't doubt you on that." I sighed.

-Le time skip-

We ended the call. Everyone was tired from playing all night long.

I picked up my mask from my bedside table. I stared at it as I examined every bit of the mask. Should I stop wearing it? I thought back to the days I'd wear it even when skyping. I think Evan has me changed. I sometimes don't even realize that I don't have my mask. I sat on the edge of my bed with a sigh. I twitched my ears as I listened to the chirping of birds. It must be 3 am..

I let out a yawn as I placed my mask back on the bedside table and knocked out as soon as my head hit the pillow.

This story is going somewhere! I don't know where it's going, but it's going somewhere! I'm quite pleased with the results. I didn't even think about how this story would come to be.. I just randomly started writing after thinking about how everyone's life is gonna be like. Eh I'm hoping I don't end this too quickly. 😂 also sorry for the short chapter. Been busy with school.. pain in my ass to deal with T~T..
