Silvano glared at the little creature in front of him. He was leaning back in his chair with a pen restjng on his bottom lip. His legs were spread wide as his free arm rested on the arm of the chair. His lips curled up in a snarl as he watched the boy sleep. Disgusting. Revolting. Horrendous. The baby was made because Oliver Ricci couldn't keep his hands off of the woman of his dreams.

Since the ball, Silvano couldn't stop thinking about Marcia. Ever since they were teens, all he could think about was Marcia. The air he breathed was Marcia. His mother used to joke about him and her falling in love and having the cutest babies ever seen on earth. He began to think the same way.

Now, more than ten years later, she was with someone else. Enjoying life and popping out babies with someone new. Someone he loathed with a passion. In his mind, Oliver stole her aaway. Of course, that would illicit him to get her back by any means necessary. If Pietro didn't wake up, he'd have to get Marcia on his own accords.

Figures, he thought to himself. Even when he did have his pawns to do the job, he would always end up cleaning up their mess because they couldn't do it themselves. Pietro was no different. Although, he did have to admit that Pietro did have a knack for creating disaster everywhere he went.

Sebastian was still wrapped up in his blanket and little hat. Silvano pushed himself up from the chair and fljng the pen so it landed somewhere on his desk among the clutter. He made his way over to the stroller and gingerly reached down to pick up the baby and held it closely to his body.

How queer it was to hold something so small he knew he could break in a second. Literally, he held the life of an innocent in the palm of his hands. By pressing hard enough, he could crush the baby's skull and it would never live to see another day.

However, he couldn't convince himself to do so.

Yes, it was the baby of Oliver Ricci, but it was also part of Marcia. Not to mention, it was an innocent child who didn't do anything except be born. She would never be the same if Sebastian was gone in a permanent sense. He noticed the affect losing her child due to kidnapping was doing to her. She was different and more reserved. She smiled, but it wasn't the amazing smile he knew and loved.

Sebastian, he noticed, had Marcia's long lashes and pouty lips. When Sebastian had his eyes open, they were the exact replica of his father's eyes. A beautiful combination. Still, he was disgusted by the baby.

He put the baby back down in the stroller so he wouldn't break or kill it.

He looked at the ground where he left Pietro. He was still in his fetal position on the ground. He sighed. Pietro wasn't cut out for the job, but he was the only one crazy enough to do it.

All of his men were either sick, had wives and children, or were sensible and didn't want to do it.

Pietro, on the other hand, needed the money. Silvano had yet to pay him for his babysitting services. Honestly, he probably wouldn't do it in the future. He was too caught up in his crimes and deliberate schemes to catch a hold of Marcia.

Wanting to be entertained, he walked over to his little bar of liquours and poured a small glass of whiskey. He walked over to Pietro and noticed how Sebastian had awoken and was staring at what he was doing. Disregarding him, he went over to Pietro and threw the whiskey on his face. Nothing.

He knew he hadn't killed Pietro. His grip wasn't hard enough to kill the poor kid. Even if had wanted to, he still needed his woman back so he couldn't kill him. At least not yet. He got another glass of whiskey, poured more in, walked back over to Pietro, and splashed him with it.

Amused, he watched as Pietro sputtered awake. He wiped his eyes with his hands and locked the liquid around his lips. His eyes turned up to see the dominating force of Silvano. He shot up into a sitting position and pressed his back against the wall.

Silvano surveyed the glass with a bored expression etched out upon his face. "I always thought whiskey was meant to put you to sleep; not wake you up."

"Obviously it does both," Pietro muttered. As soon as the words left his mouth, he wished they hadn't. He was talking back to Silvano, and he knew that could only lead to a more sever punishment.

Instead of punishing the poor boy, Silvano let out a snort and turned his back to walk back to his desk. He sat in his chair in a slow motion and signaled Pietro to sit before him in one of the two seats.

Hesitantly, Pietro stood up, wobbled a little due to the pain in his ribs, and pulled out one of the chairs to sit in. He gingerly sat down as to avoid the pain he was overwhelmed with. "The pain is only temporary, mind you," Silvano stated.

"Yeah, I know."

Silvano smirked. Pietro grew a pair from his beating. Good. "I wanted to discuss what you were thinking for the plan to bring Marcia here."

Pietro was conflicted. Tell Silvano the truth or lie. He chose the former. "I plan to use the bastard child as bait-"

He was cut off with a wave of Silvano's hand. "You do know a bastard is someone who was born to a whorish woman and doesn't have a father, right?" Pietro blinked. "You may proceed," Silvano motioned with his palm out and his arm straight.

Pietro cleared his throat. "Right. As I was saying, I plan to use Sebastian, as bait for Marcia."

"And where and when do you plan to do this?"

Pietro almost corrected him to say that it's when or where, but he decided against it. His throat and stomach could valge for him. "Somewhere kind of secluded but also famous enough for Marcia to want to go."

Silvano thought this over. It was a good plan. It would have to wait and see if it would work as well as he was thinking it would. "Where?"

Pietro shrugged. "Do you know any places?"

He thought it over. The market had too many people roaming around. The Coliseums were too far. The tourist sites were carried far too many people. "Send her an anonymous letter and tell her to meet you at Toni's tonight."

Pietro furrowed his brows. "The bar downtown?" Silvano nodded. "But won't there be a lot of people?"

"The only thing you need to worry about is getting Marcia down here by Wednesday. Which, might I add, is tomorrow." Pietro gulped. The consequences of not following his orders would surely be worse than anything he could ever imagine.

"How will I send her a letter if I don't know where she is?" Pietro questioned.

"I know. I tracked her phone so that I could see that she was safe at all times." Again, Pietro did not understand Silvano's reasoning as to why he couldn't get her himself. He knew where she was, so why not go and get her? "Also, Oliver won't be back until Wednesday evening."

Pietro was going to question his information, but decided against it.

"Make sure you do it the right way or else your mother gets shot between the eyes. You will be there to witness it as well. You will then be shot in the back of the head. Do I make myself clear?" Pietro nodded his head vigorously. "I can't hear you. Speak up, boy."

"Y-yes Silvano," he stuttered, "I understand."

A small smile appeared on Silvano's lips. He had the boy right where he wanted. If he were to fail, which he suspected he would, he'd be able to get her himself with a lot more persuasion.

"Good. Now leave before I change my mind and kill your mother right now."

With haste, Pietro scurried out of his chair, stumbled a bit due to the pain and Jim clumsiness, and out the door. He closed the door behind him and was gone for a few moments before he came back with a sheepish expression on his face. He had forgotten the most important piece: Sebastian.

Silvano rolled his eyes. Why would he put his trust in Pietro? Oh, right. Marcia doesn't know what he looks like. That was another reason as to why Silvano didn't do it himself.

Marcia knew him from all aspects. If she saw him, she'd run away. He couldn't allow that to happen.

He clenched his fists tightly together. He hungered for her beauty and to mark her in more ways than one. He'd have her if it was the last thing he did.
