Pietro got out of the shower in record time. He died his hair, put in his best Armani suit and was out of the door, all within thirty minutes. Today he was meeting the man who was the most eligible to take the little bastard away.

His mother played with him day and night. She took care of him when he cried, soiled his diaper, wanted food, or even just wanted attention. She was under his every beck and cry.

"Are you sure he can't stay any longer?" his mother asked the night before.

He shook his head. "I'm sorry, mother, but he needs to go back to his parents. We've had him longer than I expected. It's time for you to let him go."

Sebastian was wrapped him his mother's arms in a blanket. He looked cozy and relatively pleasant while being cradled.

His mother sighed. "You're right. I'm just going to put him to bed now. Goodnight."

"Goodnight, mom."

As he walked down the street, he noticed the café where he was going to meet his buyer. He went by the name of Silvano Dentro. He was a business man who also happened to be a Mafia leader.

He walked into the café and heard the bell chime up over his head. He checked out the place before he settled down at a table with a man who was reading a newspaper. Silvano.

"You have child?" Silvano's broken English resounded from behind the newspaper.

"No, not with me," Pietro admitted.

Silvano brought his paper down so that only his brown eyes were showing. "Then why am I here?"

"To negotiate," Pietro responded. "I will give you the child once we settle on a deal that will make both of us happy."

Silvano thought this over in his head. Either this Pietro was pulling his leg, or he did want to negotiate like a man.

He had heard of Pietro, but he never took notice of him. Not until now that he had taken the Ricci's son from under their noses. He thought it interesting the way Pietro worked. Make a few phone calls and threaten someone, and when they least expect it... bang!

However, he did find it cowardly that Pietro did it while both of the Ricci's were asleep. That lost him some points. Nevertheless, he was here and ready to bargain for the child.

"Hmm, is that so, Pietro?" Silvano mused. He leaned forward in his chair and put the paper down. "Tell you what. You show me the child, and I'll show you the money."

Pietro thought this over expediently. "Fine. In two hours?"

Silvano couldn't help but smile. "Perfect." He had just played Pietro. He had no intentions of giving Pietro the money, but at least he got the child.

A boy like Pietro didn't belong trying to make deals with the Mafia. It never worked out. Pietro just wanted to get out on top. Unfortunately for him, that's not how the Mafia worked. The rich got richer and the poor got poorer.

"Same place or..." Pietro's words died out as soon as Silvano started to get up out of his seat.

Silvano straightened out his suit and told him where to meet. "Don't be late."

Pietro nodded his head. Silvano was a good two inches taller than himself and he was much more built than he was as well. He didn't want to get of Silvano's bad side if he could help it.

Pietro reached out his hand and Silvano shook it. "See you in two hours, kid."

Pietro watched as Silvano strutted away. He was most certainly not a kid. Why couldn't anyone see that? He was a grown man who did what he had to do to gain money or respect.
