I gazed up at the ceiling as I laid in bed and allowed my thoughts to take control. My life was like a fairytale right now. If I had to tell anyone about this experience, they would think I made it up. It was unbelievable but its was the life I was living and trying to survive. Looking at this situation, it could have been a whole lot worse. What girl gets kidnapped to live in a castle? Normally, when someone is kidnapped it is by an ugly and mentally challenged man who keeps them captive in a dirty dump, rapes and kills them. It is never by a multi-billionaire, handsome young man to live in a lavish castle. I was living the best life there could possibly be right now.

I cannot believe I'm saying this but I am genuinely starting to like Raymond. I think that I have fallen in love with my kidnapper!

Wait, what am I saying?

How could I have fallen for that jerk with his handsome face, his abs, his beautiful hair, and those sweet , oh so sweet lips.

What in the world am I saying?

I was interrupted from the ranting in my brain by a knock on my door. It was Raymond. I was sure of it. I could sense his presence from a mile away.

My heart began to beat rapidly and I ran to the door, opening it without hesitation.

"Hi Ray!" I said smiling.

Don't make it obvious that you like him. Act cool.

"Hey Kyra! I like my nickname, but I love your cute face more." he said trying to flirt with me.

I blushed furiously and allowed him to come into my room.

He was wearing a dark blue suit which hugged his body perfectly and I literally felt drool fall from my mouth. The man who stood before me was dashingly handsome and I could not understand what he saw in such a simple girl like me. Of all the girls in the world, why did he choose me? He could have gotten any girl he wanted and have a beautiful model but instead he chose to kidnap me.

I guess I was probably ogling at him for a while because he cleared his throat to try to get my attention. My cheeks were now furiously red and I let out an awkward cough to hide my embarrassment.

Smooth Kyra. Just smooth. I was such a mess.

"Umm, would you like to go shopping? Dr. Amara will take you. I will give you your own credit card and you can spend as much as you'd like." he said smiling.

"Okay." I responded smiling.

Normally, I would go shopping with Lisa and my other friends but I guess that was out of the option now. At least I get to go on a shopping spree and spend a lot of money. Maybe I could get a phone and message my parents to tell them my location or even escape on my own. Then again, I could not escape unless Lisa was with me. If I left her alone with that maniac, who knows what he could do to her. I would have to keep my freedom on a hold for now because I would never forgive myself if anything bad ever happened to Lisa.

He told me to get ready and then left my room. I went to my shower which was turquoise in  colour and had a quick bath. I wrapped my towel around me after my bath and entered my walk-in closet and decided to put on a pink t-shirt, white skinny jeans and converse shoes. I had so much clothing that I honestly did not need to go shopping, but I needed to buy some electronics which I could use to escape my kidnapper.

I exited my room after I gave myself one more glance in my mirror to ensure that I was looking good and presentable.

I walked all the way down the castle stairs to the ground floor and I was exhausted. If Raymond is so rich that he can afford to live in a castle, he should really invest in some elevators because I was not a fan of exercising and these stairs were a work out.
