You, Evie, Jay, Carlos, and Dude are already inside waiting for Mal and Ben to arrive. You were up on the balcony while Mal and Ben were in the carriage on their way. Last night Mal had told you and Evie that she was going to break Ben's love spell after the coronation, and that she would give him the food to eat later while they were in the carriage. Mal was wearing the dress you and Evie had designed, and Evie made.
The choir is singing behind you guys as you look out over the entire crowd. Jay looks over to Evie, who looks over to you, who looks over to Carlos, with a look in all of your eyes that says plain as day 'Let's do this' Two people open the doors as Ben walks in. I no longer have any royal status now that basically the entire kingdom knows I'm not the king and queens daughter. The king and queen stand up from there thrown as Ben continues walking. You feel nervous and Carlos see's that in your eyes so he grabs your hand. You look out to the king and queen and they king looks up at you, you notice the look of betrayal and hurt. Not that you cared, you were soooooooo done with Auradon and all of it's peppiness. We all bow as Ben comes to a stop. As Ben approaches the alter where the wand, fairy godmother, the king, and the queen are standing, Fairy godmother takes the crown from the kings head and holds it above Ben's. You all look down at Mal, there's a look of worry on her face. As fairy godmother places the crown on Ben's head, the king comes over and lifts the glass casing off of the wand. Mal looks up at you guys with a scared expression. The queen takes the wand and hands it to fairy godmother. "Do you solemnly swear to govern the peoples of Auradon with justice and mercy, as long as you shall reign?" The fairy godmother says. "I do solemnly swear" Ben says. "Then it is my honor and my joy to bless our new king" Fairy godmother says. The crowd gasps as someone grabs the wand from her hand, but it's not Mal. She waves the wand around trying to gain control of it. Light shoots out of it and hits a flag. According to the book fairy godmothers magic wand 101, that can break the barrier. We did it, without even trying. The job is done. You think. You knew that in a few moments you would be face to face with your mother. You were nervous and excited. "CHILD WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Fairy godmother yells. "IF YOU WONT MAKE ME BEAUTIFUL, I'LL DO IT MYSLEF!" Jane yells still trying to get a grip on the wand. "BIBBITY! BOBBITY! BOO!" Jane yells flailing around. Mal runs over and grabs the wand from Jane. You all run down from the balcony to help Mal. "Mal? Give me the wand" Ben says. "Stay back!" Mal yells. You all run through the doors to Mal's side. "It's okay" Ben says calmly. "BEN I SAID STAND BACK!" Mal yells louder. "I told you so!" Audrey says rushing forward. Mal turns the wand towards her. "Let's go" Carlos says. "Revenge time" Jay says. "You really wanna do this?" Ben asks. "We have no choice Ben! Our parents-" Mal says. "Your parents made their choice, now you make yours" Ben says. Mal looks at Ben, then to his parents. "I think I wanna be good" Mal says. You couldn't believe your ears, but you had enough hatred towards Maleficent to rather stay in Auradon."You are good!" Ben says. "How do you know that?!" Mal says. "Because... because I'm listening to my heart" He says. "I wanna listen to my heart too" Mal says. "My heart is telling me that we are not our parents. I mean stealing things doesn't make you happy. Tourney, and victory pizza with the team makes you happy!" Mal says to Jay. "And you, scratching Dude's belly makes you happy, who would have thought, and spending time with y/n makes you happy" Mal says to Carlos as he grabs my hand. "And Evie, You do not have to play dumb to get a guy! You are so smart." Mal says to Evie. "And y/n, you, you are the best sister I've ever had, and the only one. But I am so so so grateful to have met you and to have you as my sister!" Mal says to you and you begin to tear up. "And I don't want to take over the world with evil! It doesn't make me happy, I wanna go to school, and be with Ben! Because Ben makes me really really happy" Mal says turning towards Ben. "Us being friends makes me really happy, not destroying things. I choose good you guys" Mal says putting her hand the middle. Jay smiles and puts his hand in the middle. "I choose good too" He says. "I choose good" Evie says, putting her hand in the middle and smiling. "So, just to be clear, we don't have to be worried about how really mad our parents will be?" Carlos says and you all laugh. You knew that if you spoke up now about the barrier breaking they Carlos wouldn't join his friends so you kept quiet till he said "Okay then, good" He says. Ben walks over and puts his hand in too. "Y/n?" Carlos ask. "I choose good, because with you guys, I'd go to the ends of the earth. Also, you may want to rethink our safety. I read that if the magic wand is used other than for the coronation, the barrier will break." You say. "Well then, y/n it's time for you to meet you mother, and hopefully save us because she can get really angry" Carlos says. "With Mal's help, I can" You say looking to your sister. All of a sudden Maleficent flies in. "I'm Baaaaack" she says. "Go away mother" Mal says. Maleficent just starts laughing. "She's funny. You're very funny, here, wand me. Chop chop!" Maleficent says. "No!" Ben yells. Mal throws the wand over to fairy godmother. "Bibbity bobbity-" She says waving the wand but maleficent cuts her off. "Boo!" maleficent says raising her sector in the air and making everyone but you and the VK's freeze. "Psych" Maleficent says laughing. She walks over to fairy godmother and grabs the wand from her. "Ooh! Someone needs to pluck their nose hairs" Maleficent says. "Where shall we begin? I know, why don't we start by getting rid of this!" Maleficent says using the wand to take Ben's ring off of Mal's hand. "Perfect fit!" She says. "Oh, falling involve is weak." Maleficent says. "Really, because what I know, you fell in love. I'm guessing you only think that because when I was born my father left you!" You yell at her. "Excuse me, who do you think you are?" Maleficent asks. "You know mother, it's sad that you can't even recognize your own daughter" Mal says. "Mal, I see you quite clearly" maleficent says. "Not her you idiot! How can you not remember me?! Your own daughter, even after 17 years you'd expect a mother to remember her child!" You yell. "Please, I never fell in love, I've only ever had one child- wait, but it's not possible! But, I'd know those eyes anywhere, you have your fathers eyes" Maleficent says. "I don't give a damn about who's eyes I have! You abandoned me, alone! The only reason I'm here today is because Belle raised me and took care of me!" You yell. "Oh well never mind" Maleficent says laughing. You start crying and Carlos hugs you. "Anyway, like I said before, falling in love is weak, ridiculous, its not what you want" Maleficent says. "You don't know what I want! Mom, have you ever asked me what I want? I'm not you!" Mal says. "Well obviously. I've had year and years and years and years and years of practice being evil, you'll get there" Maleficent says. "No, I will not! And I really wish that you had never gotten there yourself love is not weak, or ridiculous, it's actually really amazing" Mal says. "I know one thing lady! YOU HAVE NO ROOM FOR LOVE IN YOUR LIFE!" Maleficent yells. "AND NOW I COMMAND THE WAND TO MY HAND!" Mal says using a spell to get the wand from her mother. After some struggling the wand finally flies into Mal's hand. "It worked!" Mal says. "I hardly think so, this is tedious, you are being very immature, give me the wand!" Maleficent says. "Hold on Mal, maybe good really is more powerful" Carlos says. "Oh please, you're killing me! Arf" Maleficent says. Then Dude starts barking and jumps on maleficent. "Oh oh oh breath! Get off me!" She says to Dude. "No one shoves my dog!" you say angrily. Jay runs forward an tries to grab maleficent's sector from her hands, but even his strength was no match for maleficent's magic. "Gaston should be jealous" Maleficent says stroking Jay's shoulder and playing on his weakness as she pushes him down. "ENOUGH!" Maleficent yells and Carlos comforts Dude. "YOU ALL WILL REGRET THIS!" Maleficent yells as she turns into a big purple dragon.
