Chapter 8

Alice POV:

I glared at him with my arms crossed over my chest as I watched him walked back to his desk and wrote something in a book then looked up at me. "I'm almost done with your registry" he said before he walked over to where I was causing me to step back. However, I was already against the wall. He noticed this as he raised an eyebrow. "I'm not going to do anything to you. I'm simply walking to the door" he said causing me to glanced to my right seeing him reaching for the door before I glanced up at him. "Let me show you to your room" he stated before opening the door and stepped outside.

I followed him out of the office as I glanced around the hallway seeing pictures decorated the wall and not paying attention I bump into the guy and immediately took a step back as I frowned. He looked back at him before opening a door "This will be your room" he said before I walked around and enter the room and immediately froze seeing how grand the room was. It was beautifully decorated room. I walked move further into the room and gently placed my hand on the bed feeling how soft it was then looked at entrance seeing the guy leaned against the doorframe observing me then I glanced down at the bed before removing my hand. "Are you sure...this is for me? This room is nothing compare...." I trail off not wanting to tell the male that I used to live in the basement of my old pack.

"Of course. Pretty much all pack members have a similar style room where one person live in or two people due to being mates." he said

"Why?" he asked causing me to shake my head

"No..it's nothing" I said quietly still shock this was going to be my room. I was expecting a small room and anything in it just like how my old pack made me move to the basement. I was lost in thought before I noticed movement in the corner of my eyes seeing the male moved away from the doorframe. "I'm guessing you're tired so I'll leave you to get some rest." he reached for the doorknob and was about to closed the door before he stopped. "Also...my name is Lucas" he said softly 

"Alice" I said quietly causing Lucas to smiled slightly before finally closing the door. I walked around expecting everything before opening an door seeing a bathroom thinking it would be best to shower. I stepped inside the bathroom and immediately turned on the water for the shower before stripping out of my clothes and stepped into the shower, immediately the water soothe out my muscles after everything that occurred. Once I was done, I reached for a towel and wrapped around my body and looked for a brush and which I find in a draw under the bathroom seeing a tag attached to it meaning it was nice. 

After some time brushing my hair due to all the knots in my hair I stepped out of the bathroom to figure out what to wear. I noticed some clothes on the bed meaning someone enter while I was taking a shower. I held up the clothes seeing it was tank top and legging that will reach the knees. I shrugged and put on the clothes and surprisingly fitted my body nicely. I picked up the towel and walking to the bathroom, I hanged the towel on the hook behind the door and walked back out of the room and I was worn and looked at the bed knowing that I don't deserve this. I grabbed a pillow and pulled the cover off from the bed before settling down on the floor. 

Once I covered myself with the cover and my head hit the pillow I fell asleep thinking what will happen tomorrow.
