[Sandywing's POV]

I looked around the camp before leaving it. We were heading out on a border patrol and Midnightstar and her two warriors had just left. It felt weird having them in the camp so long even if I was new to all the clans. I didn't know why my sister told me we should go to the clans. She had heard so many stories about them when we were kits. Our mother told them all to us. She was an apprentice to the clan of MapleClan but then was exiled for something she didn't do. Now we were in the clan and no one knew we were the kits of Raven.

Her name didn't display her looks at all. She looked like Thawpuddle and I mixed. She was mainly white with some pale ginger spots all over her. We both shared her brilliant green eyes. I noticed the deputy had them too. Mother always told us that she had two sisters and a brother. Her one sister died as an apprentice but her brother and other sister lived on. She also never told us the names of her siblings. She didn't tell us the name of her mentor either but called him a leader.

Now that I was in the clan, I was thinking her mentor was Silverstar. He seemed like the description she had told us. He was caring and yet fair. He made some rash decisions but always looked out for the clan. Her sister, that must have been Brightfire since they shared some looks. That made her brother Robinheart. It was weird that her siblings and I were both warriors. They were young but I was even younger.

Raven had us barely a moon after she was exiled from the clan. They must have still been apprentices at that time. We grew up just a good number of moons behind them. Raven was ten moons old when she gave birth to us. She said our father was some random rouge that she didn't remember the name of. I wanted to find the name of him but it didn't bother me too much.

Thawpuddle and I were only around thirteen moons at the most. We might have still been twelve moons old. It could have even been eleven moons. I didn't remember. When we joined up with Thawpuddle and his little brother, we lost track on how old we were. When Silverstar asked us for our age, I said some random number that was close to our age. I knew the two apprentices were only six moons old. It would be a while until they were old enough to be warriors.

I also knew the two were already mates. Out in the wild, we had no rules about how young you could be to have a mate. They both found each other and became mates. They were just waiting until they were twelve moons old now so that they could have a true family. I knew that they would be happy.
