Isaac grinned brightly at his fiancé as the two of them stood at the alter while the preacher spoke. He couldn't believe their wedding day was finally here. He had thought about this day so many times and now that it had finally arrived he could hardly breathe.
"And now, for the vows." The preacher said finally, looking over at Chloe. "You first." He smiled.
Chloe bit her lip, smiling up at Isaac as Lydia handed her the small slip of paper with her vows written on it. "Isaac, when I was a little girl, I loved to watch Disney movies. I still do. But the reason I loved them when I was a little girl was because I would see all these princesses fall in love with their princes, and I would think, 'That's what I want. I want a prince.'
"If you had told little eight year old me, who wore a pillow case on the back of her head as a wedding veil," She laughed softly, and Isaac chuckled. "That one day I would not only find my prince, but my best friend, I wouldn't have believed you. But now, standing here with you, looking into those damn blue eyes that drive me absolutely crazy," She laughed a watery laugh as tears welled into her eyes. "I believe anything is possible. I love you, Isaac."
Isaac looked at his fiancé with tears of his own welled into his eyes, smiling brightly at her as Scott tried to hand him his vows.
"It's okay," He whispered back to his friend. "I got this."
Scott raised his eyebrows but backed up, sharing a look with Stiles before turning their attention back to their friend and his fiancé.
"Chloe, growing up, I didn't have a regular family. It was anything but regular actually," He laughed gently. "And it took me a while, but I finally realized that family doesn't just end in blood. It's the people you laugh with, the people you cry with," He gently took her hand in his, intertwining their fingers together. "The people you love more than anything." He smiled. "You are my family. And I'm so lucky to have you. I love you so much."
Chloe squeezed his hand tight, trying to keep the tears from falling from her eyes and ruining her mascara.
"And you know I mean that, because I say so many horrific things." Isaac joked with a grin, making Chloe laugh softly.
The preacher smiled at the couple before speaking once again. "Do you, Chloe, take Isaac to be your lawfully wedded husband, in sickness and in health, for better or worse, until death do you part?"
Chloe nodded. "I do."
"Do you, Isaac, take Chloe to be your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, for better or worse, until death do you part?"
Isaac grinned brightly. "I do."
"Then, by the power vested in me by the state of California, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may-"
Isaac didn't wait for the man to finish before he was pulling Chloe close and dipping her backward, slamming his lips onto hers.
Chloe laughed against his lips, draping her arms around his neck and tangling her fingers into his golden curls.
"Yeah! That's my boy!" Stiles whooped, laughing when Scott elbowed him in the ribs.
Isaac laughed gently, pulling his new wife back to her feet and grinning down at her. "I love you so much, Mrs. Lahey."
Chloe grinned. "I love you more, Mr. Lahey."
