As Dan finished his coffee, he looked up at Phil, who hadn't seemed to touch his. "Phil, are you okay?" Dan asks.
"Oh yeah, I'm fine, I just don't know anything about you yet, and I wanted to get to know you." This was fine with Dan.
"Okay. I am Daniel James Howell, I am 26 years old, I am 6'4, and I like staying in my room watching the television," he explained to Phil.
"Thanks, Dan. I am Philip Michael Lester, I am 30 years old, height 6'2, and I like to sleep," Phil replied.
"Ha. You're older but shorter. That's funny," Dan smirked.
"It is not!" Phil muttered and blushed.
"Is too."
"It is not, Dan!"
"Whatever you say, shorty." Dan took great pleasure in pestering the older boy.
"God, you're annoying."
"And that, my good man, is a compliment."
"Ohhhkay. I'm just going to have to learn to live with that aren't I?"
"Yep."
"I like you too much anyway."
Dan blushed, and sipped his coffee. This guy was smooth. He could feel his ears and cheeks heating up, and slowly lowered his head so the older boy wouldn't notice his red face. But alas, that was too late.
"Oh. My god. Dan, are you, blushing?" Phil asked, smirking.
"No! I'm just a bit warm, is all."
"You're totally blushing."
"I am not!"
Phil rolled his eyes. Dan knew that the older boy knew he was blushing. Dan has always blushed easily. Whenever the smallest compliment was given to him, he would always blush. Even when he was the one giving the compliment, he would start blushing and laughing. And people wouldn't believe him, or think it was a dare. So nobody took him seriously. He only hoped that Phil would. He was his soul mate, after all. What could go wrong?
SPOILER: somethings gonna go wrong liek nobody ever says what could go wrong and not mess everything up. like seriously
