Summer, last forever?

"Class dismissed! Have a good summer everyone, be safe see you all next fall." My teacher announces. As soon as she said that everyone jumps out of there seats with excitement and joy. I look at my best friend Bridget and take her wrist and pull her out of the sea of people running out of the school. We get outside and scream with excitement.

"This is going to be the best summer ever!" I shout jumping up and down.

"Yeah! Especially now that we have our licenses!!" Bridget replies opening the door to her Ford f-150. I hop in the passenger seat and she starts the truck. It roars to life and we speed out of the parking lot.

"So now that school is officially out for the summer, what shall we do first?" Bridget asks me pulling onto the road. I think for a second and instantly get an idea.

"We should go down to Jersey for a while and stay in your family's beach house!" Bridget looks at me with a million dollar smile on her face.

"I was talking to my mom about doing that sometime!" She replies pulling out her green iPhone C. She dialed in her moms number.

"Hey mom, you know how we were talking about me and Skylar going down to New Jersey? ... Do you think we could that this week?... Really?... Oh my gosh thank you so much mom! ... Love you too! ... Bye!" Bridget looks at me with excitement twinkling in her eyes.

"My mom said we could!!!!" She screeches.

"Yay! This will be awesome! Let me call my mom!" I say taking out my iPhone.

After I get off the phone with my mom I yell out the window,

"Here we come Jersey!" I stick my head back inside the truck and look at Bridget with concern.

"What is it?" She asks pulling into her driveway.

"What am I going to do about Desiree and Frankie!?" I ask about my dogs Desiree (a Caviler King Charles spaniel and Frankie a French bulldog.)

"Well we could bring them! I could also bring Owen and Emma!" She tells me as we get out of the truck (Owen is a beagle and Emma is a Chihuahua mix.)

"That makes it a million times better!" I say with a smile on my face.

"Speaking of them..." All of a sudden we are attacked by Owen and Emma.

"Hey puppies!" I whisper and pick Owen up. I kiss his little head and look at him in the big brown eyes.

"We are going on vacation with you Emma, Dee Dee, and Frankie!" He instantly starts wagging his tail. We walk into the house and get greeted by Bridget's other dog, Maggie. (Boxer mix)

"Hey girls!" Bridget's mom greets us while she's making a yummy looking chicken salad.

"Hey mom we are going to go get Skylar's stuff and then just take off tomorrow morning." Bridget replied stealing a piece of lettuce. Her mom nods her head and we get back into the truck to my house. When we get there we run into the house and start packing stuff.

"What should I bring?" I ask grabbing my two puppy totes for my dogs who are currently at the moment licking Bridget's face.

"Bathing suits, towels, toiletries, pillow, doggy totes and stuff, extra cash, sunglasses, a snack, I think that's pretty much it!" Bridget says playing with Frankie's ears.

Once I'm all packed and I say bye to my family, we are back over to Bridget's house where we are excitedly waiting for the morning to come. We get ready for bed and let the dogs out and I get into the comfy pull out bed from Bridget's couch in her room while she slides into bed. I call my dogs up to my bed and Bridget calls hers.

"Night, even thought we probably won't even sleep." I whisper and laugh.

"Yeah probably not but we have to, Jersey isn't a hop, skip and a jump away you know!" Bridget replies putting her phone down and turning over. I just laugh and fall asleep.

Hi everyone! This is the first story I have ever written on wattpad and I know it may suck :p But I will try and do my best, I also may do three books at a time because I have a lot of ideas running through my head so hopefully their better then this one!
