Summer, last forever?

Chapter 5

After we were done with our ice creams, Bridget and I decided we wanted to go to the beach. We walk back to the house and drop the dogs off and get into our bathing suits. I got into an American flag bikini with fringe on the top, Bridget in a plain blue bikini. I grab my iPhone, sunscreen, a magazine,sunglasses, beach towel, water, and beach umbrella. I make sure my dogs have enough water and wait for Bridget. I scroll though my twitter feed looking at all the drama.

"Damn they got her good!" Bridget said all of sudden making me jump.

"How long have you been there?!" I scream.

"Long enough to see people picking on Erica for being a slut." She died laughing.

"Ready to go chicka?" I asked Bridget she nodded and we head out of the house.

When we get to the beach we see many other people had the same idea as us, we find the perfect spot and put down our towels and lay out of in the sun. After about 12 minutes I started sweating.

"Bridget I'm going in the water. It's so fricken hot."

"I'm coming with you!" She replied getting up. When we walk to the edge of the water I dipped my toes in the cold water. I looked at Bridget and she nodded. We ran into the ocean and dived under the surface. When I surfaced I felt refreshed. We went back to laying in the sun.

We stayed at the beach till supper time and then packed up to go home. When we got home we fed the dogs.

"I don't feel like cooking but I sure feel like lobster." I whine to Bridget. She looked at me as if she felt my pain.

"I want lobster too!! We can go to the seafood shack a couple blocks from here!!"

"Sounds good!" and with that I turned on my heel and headed to my room to get changed. I suited for a pair of shorts, Nirvana shirt and black vans. I put on mascara and a thin line of eye liner on my top lid I brushed my hair and let it do what it wanted. Bridget and I met out in the living room and we were on our way.
