Summer, last forever?

Chapter 2

"Hey want to stop at dunkin donuts?" Bridget asks while I look at a magazine.

"Yeah I could really go for an ice coffee." I reply and put down the magazine and pet Frankie.

We pull into dunkin donuts and we shut the truck off and hop out and walk in. We see two really, really attractive guys one with a tank top his ripped biceps showing with board shorts. The other had piercing blue eyes and had on a tank top and shorts. We go to the counter to order and after I say my order I feel eyes staring into my back I turn around and see the brunette looking at me. He looked at my face and smiled a million dollar smile. I blush and turn around.

After we get our ice coffees we are about to leave but the guy that was looking at me stopped me.

"Hey I'm Cameron, text me sometime." He said and handed me his number scribbled on a piece of paper. I think about what to do and realize I was staring at his biceps and Bridget elbows me in the rib. I coil up and the recover quickly and I smile at him and nod my head. We walk out of dunkin and I turn around and wave to him. We get into the truck and I try to act coolly about it but on the other hand Bridget was freaking out.

"OH MY GOSH YOU MIGHT GET YOUR FIRST BOYFRIEND!" She screeches. I've never had a boyfriend and I didn't feel like any of the boys in my school were boyfriend material, either that they were taken.

"I don't know Bridget, I don't even know him." I say fumbling around with the slip of paper.

"He obviously was into you! He was checking you out the whole time." She says and starts the truck. I blush and put the number in my phone. She smirks at me and I just laugh. I put on my rayban's have Frankie on my lap and I fall asleep to the motor of the truck.

"Skylar... Skylar!" I here someone say and shaking me awake. I groan and open my eyes. I look around to see we are at a Cumberland farms gas station. I have the sudden urge to go to the bathroom.

"Bathroom break?" I ask and rub my eyes. She nods and we run out of the truck. We get into the bathroom and do our business. After I look at the food and drinks they have and I grab a salt and vinegar chip bag, and then I grab a water and pretzel m&m's. We pay for our stuff and walk out of the store.

"I bet the dogs need to go pee and some water, I'll do that. You gonna fill up?" I ask and get Frankie in his harness and Desiree in hers.

"Yup, will you be able to walk Owen and Emma?" She replies taking out her credit card.

"Yup!" I reply and bring Frankie and Desiree to a place to go potty. After I do the same for Owen and Emma.

We then all hop into the truck, me driving this time. Frankie decides he wants to go in his crate and Desiree and Owen want to come out front. Desiree lays into a ball on my lap and we take off back onto the highway.
