I sit back astonished, I reach down to pick Kinsley up but soon realize she wasn't there, a gasp escapes my mouth before I can realize she was already sitting on the couch watching Paw Patrols.
I sigh and plop down next to her where she then looks up at me and frowns,
"Mommy, why was daddy so mad?" She asks."I don't know baby girl" I lie she stares at me again "oh" is all she says before turning to face the TV once again.
I get up from the couch an decide to make dinner considering Kinsley was already asleep and wouldn't be bothering me as I cook.
Grilled cheese, basically the only thing Kinsley will eat besides chicken nuggets and watermelon of course!
I look over the couch to see my sleeping daughter snuggled in her all time favorite blanket, she pretty much never lets it go, one time she cried because she wanted to take it to the park with her and I refused. Oh how different my life would be without my daughter.
I set the plate down which makes a load noise causing Kinsley to jump up from the couch. I look at her as she rubs her eyes God how beautiful she is! I think to myself.
"Dinner time baby!" I whisper into her ear she yawns and smiles she jumps up and sits down at the table quickly considering she hasn't even ate lunch she is probably starving!
"Mommy? What's for dinner?" She asks me as I carry her plate to the table.
"Dinner is served" I say setting her plate down onto the table."Grilled cheese with egg my favorite!" Kinsley squeals, as odd as it sounds it's her favorite and I try to make it at least once every week just to make her happy.
Kinsley takes large bite of her sandwich
"I wuv you mommy!" She says with her mouth still full. I chuckle at how precious she is.After finishing her last bite she runs over to me embracing me in a tight hug
"Thank you mommy!" She says muffled in my chest."I love you too, you're welcome"I reply giving her a kiss on the head.
All of a sudden she gasps and stares at me with wide eyes I look at her.
"Can we have tea like a tea party from Alice in wonderland?" She asks me,ever since we watched the movie she's been obsessed over having a tea party.I look at her confused considering what happened only days ago.
A few days earlier...
"But mommy I want to have a tea party with you!" Kinsley says crossing her arms and stomping her foot, not wanting to continue this "fight" I give in. "Yay!" Kinsley yells at the top of her longs I chuckle and make my way to the kitchen to heat up the stove.
Only minutes later the tea was ready I sit Kinsley's cup on the table slowly sipping mine. She immediately picks up the cup taking a huge sip, not more then seconds later she spits all the tea onto the floor. " Is it too hot?" I questions she shakes her head,
"No it's too nasty!" She says in a whimper. I chuckle but stop as she covers her mouth little did I know tonight would be a really ruff night.
She runs halfway to the bathroom before she suddenly stops and throws up all over the floor. She looks up at me and burst into tears I rub her back and help her to the bathroom.
"I'm sorry mommy" she manages to say in between tears I give her a sympathetic look considering I now felt bad. "No I'm sorry I didn't know you would get sick" I say comforting her,
"It's okay mommy I forgive you!" She says giving me a small weak smile.
I help her to bed and she falls asleep in minutes I get up and walk to my own room where I to suddenly fall asleep as well.
Present time.
"But you hate tea remember!" I say giving her an odd look.
"It can be like a tea party without tea!"she says nodding her head.
