Hopes and dreams...
Something I have very few of.As children our imaginations
Are bursting like fireworks.
Full of color and that come in
Different shapes and sizes. As children we were told
To hold onto our dreams,
To never let them go!...
But then we grew up.As young adults a minute
Portion of our imagination is still there.
We're taught to be more realistic;
That not everything can be real like we wish it could be.As adults our imagination is little to none.
We only have what is left of our childhood memories.
The world is a dark and dull place,
No longer bright and beautiful as we wish it were.So to all the children out there,
Hold onto your hope and dreams!
Never let go of your fantasies!
Don't be grounded by reality!Be who you want to be!
Create what you want!
Never let your hope and dreams die!
Because, if you do you will end up with a dark, dull, and emotionless world.
