Maria's POV
I woke up to a text from Drew.
Bestiii: Yeah Can't Wait
I was going to actually spend time with my best friend, brother.
"Hurry up!" I screamed to Drew from my car.
"Im coming hold on" he held up a hand for me while trying to put on his chucks.
"Looking good" I said in a melo voice.
"I know, so what first" he huggs me.
"We get our favorite stawberry shake first" I said with a huge smile on my face. The last time we got that his mom was with us.
"Okay, so why are uou so happy is it Liam?" He asked
"Mabey, it doesn't matter, How's Jess?" I know I barley spend time with her but I still care about her.
"Good she gonna deliver in a week" He had a goofy smile plastered on his face.
"Well here we are" I said parking.
"Last one there is a rotten egg" he laughed and ran out of my jeep.
"It's not fair I was driving" I complained after I walked into the store and Drew handed me my shake.
"I forgot how good these are" Drew said as we walked to the park.
We sat ar the swings until we finished our stuff.
"Drew do you miss me?" I asked remembering I haven't really been there even though I tried.
"Yea all the time, why?" he threw away our drinks.
"Because I missed you" I wasn't afraid to admit I missed my big brother. He hugged me then we ran to our secret hide out.
I froze.
"That belonged to my mom" he picked up her scarf.
"It's okay mabey that's a sign she's with us." I smiled to cc onfort him.
"Thanks, so why did you bring me here?" He sat on one of the branches of the old tree.
"Just to hang out, talk about all the memories we had here" I needed a break.
"Hey remember that time we hid here and threw waterbaloons at the joggers" We burst into a fit laughter. It stayed like that and became quiet. Not the weird silence just the I want to hear the trees quiet.
"Maria thanks for always being a great friend you were there from the start and now I have good friends a beautiful girlfriend twins on the way and memories to keep me smiling" "Thank you" he finished.
"Your welcome, I just needed a day to spend with my bestfriend" I got up and hugged him. He squeezed me back and it turned into a match to see who is stronger. I won but I think he let me.
