Seth was standing on the top of his gigantic hideout when Ethan and Alice's family stepped to challenge him. Without batting an eye, Seth pushed a button, sending out robots wearing copies of Emma's weaponized armor. This was a big mistake on Seth's part, because little did Seth know Emma had the armor specifically programmed to recognize Emma, and protect her above all other protocols. So, Seth was utterly surprised as he saw his whole robot army turn on him. Emma laughed. "Ooh, what happened here, looks like these guys realized how lame you were after basking in my awesomeness," Emma said. Seth didn't reply, his eyes wide in fear. Finally, he muttered, "I thought this battle was going to be awesome." "Oh, it willbe," Emma said. "It's just that you will be screwed over by the end of it." With a flick of Emma's finger, the robots started advancing, their cold, emotionless eyes an intimidating sight indeed as they neared Seth and his thugs.
Seth and his thugs were now getting attacked in every way by the many suits of weaponized armor. Metal clashing, lasers firing, bullets ricocheting, steel beams being torn apart as the robots did their work. "ENOUGH!!!" Seth yelled, before throwing out a bomb-like contraption. Instantly, an EMP was thrown over the whole hideout, causing all the robots to shut down simultaneously. However, the damage to the hideout the robots had done paid off, and the hideout's structure started to collapse. Emma jumped off, throwing a force field on the ground under her to brace her fall. The rest of the children followed her lead, and Ethan grabbed Alice and teleported down to them.
Ethan and Alice spotted Seth a couple yards away, and the family instantly surrounded him. Seth chuckled. "How can you beat me now, if I kill you in the past?" Seth asked, raising up a device that was clearly a time machine. Suddenly, it all hit Emma. This is what her parents were talking about, about her traveling back in time. Instinctually, she made a wild leap for the time machine, throwing all her weight into an almost impossibly far jump, hands grasping for the time machine. One of Seth's thugs attempted to throw a force field at Emma, trying to throw Emma off course, but Sophie caught the force field before it activated and threw it back at the thug, sending him flying into the air and come crashing down, probably breaking many of his bones. Probably.
Time seemed to slow as Emma grasped on to the device, and using her momentum, somehow managed to pry the machine from the much stronger man. Emma saw her life flash before for her, her mind filling with new vision and understanding, before turning the dials on the machine, plunging into a hole of purplish black light, on her way to her destiny. But first, she was going to take a quick stop at somewhere special.
Seth, filled with anger, let his frustration cloud his already askew judgement. He pushed a button, and instantly his whole nuclear weapon supply was sent flying into the air before nosediving straight back down. If he was going to die, he was going to take Ethan and his whole family with him. But what Seth stupidly forgot was that Ethan had the ability to disappear. Grabbing Alice and the kids, Ethan disappeared into the fourth dimension just as an explosion consumed everything around them, including Seth.
Ethan sighed. They would continue life without Emma. She had her destiny to fulfill. And it wasn't like they could stop her now, there was only one time machine. Ethan and Alice would continue their job, fighting the remainders of Seth's organized crime group until their death. Then Ethan and Alice's children would continue, and their children after that, a bloodline of heroes. Ethan pulled Alice into a deep kiss, hugging her tightly.
