"Sir," A cloaked black figure appeared in front of a great, enormous, black tree that seemed to block out the sunlight. Leaning against the tree was a muscular and yet ghostly pale man. The man wore a billowing black cape with a military-like uniform. He appeared to be about 35, casually rearranging the feathers of his wings on his back. "It's time."
"Good," The man replied. "Go find Dravin. Tell him it's time to release Project Shadow. He will know what to do."
"Yes, sir." The cloaked figure bowed, backing away before materializing into a handsome, sleek, black elk. The elk galloped away, leaving the man alone.
"Soon... It will be my time soon... And finally, I shall get my revenge on the Twilights..." The man let out a harsh, maniacal laugh. His eyes glinted at the thought of plotting revenge. "And the world... shall be mine..." His last words echoed in the dark, damp forest that he ruled.
A storm raged in the back, shooting lightning and illuminating the skulls and withered black trees in the forest. One bolt of lightning ignited a tree where Dravin was tending to the top secret project against the Twilights. The light illuminated a huge, purple-black dragon, the length of 15 school buses lined up, and the height of a 4 story building. This was the project that they were talking about.
Between some trees, a young girl and an older woman hid behind the trees, waiting. When Dravin went to report status on his work, the two people disappeared into the shadows, just to reappear onto the back of the dragon. With a mighty tug on the reins, the girl and the woman took to the sky, riding the dragon.
The elk who had just galloped into the clearing was stunned. All he saw was the great dragon taking to the sky, the project being destroyed. After a few seconds of stunned silence and the rhythmic pounding of the rain hitting the ground, the elk turned tail and disappeared into the shadows; Shadow-Travelling.
The sleek elk reappeared back in front of the man, and materialized back into the cloaked figure. He panted heavily. "Sir, there has been a p-problem..."
"What, Lucifer, did you just say?" The man said sharply. "What problem? The fact that you cannot do anything successfully? WELL? WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?" The man demanded.
Lucifer kept his head down respectfully, although in the inside, his heart was hammering and he was terrified of his boss, Lord Seth. "The project... it's gone."
